  1. Found a great local tire company that mounted the beadlocks for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. So catching up from Sunday, was able to make a final visitation to Rrc with the new socks and shock towers. I got those installed with help from Don and Guatav! One additional thing was trouble shooting why my turn signals were shorting. Seems a post I read on the turn signal switch did the trick and Don's parts car come through again for the win. Some finishing reassemble and it finally made it home and is ready for the trail again. Now to see if we can mount the beadlocks in time for hellhole. And maybe a cosmetic change?[emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Welcome to the club, feel free to post your build here or link to the blog. Love to follow along! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Six adults per site so we can find other parking if the host is a stickler for the rules. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I booked spot 32 and sharing with Tyler...may have more room as its a long spot. Looking forward to getting out.
  6. Great! Send me a text and I'll get you the address. Cheers, 619-347-6239 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Does that have the lt230 transfer case? Can't remember when they switched to the Borg Warner version. Eric is right, we need more details on what is actually going on. Rovers always leak, anything specific an issue? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Unfortunately baseball is keeping us from making this event. Maybe next time.
  9. So it's on the calendar! Just need to get the rig ready to go! We'll plan to camp as well.
  10. So it's that time again, second Thursday of the month. This time we're combining efforts...so the weather is great and the lake is loooow! So those that can make will cruise the lake bed then we're headed to Marc's house, he lives in lake estates which is the last left before entering the lake on the Douglas entrance. Planning to do BYOB and order Pizzas depending on who makes it out. Please contact Greg or Reach out to Marc for the address. For those interested in joining the club, great chance to come out and meet folks. Cheers
  11. So freshen up the beadlocks with some paint and installed the apex valve stems. All the new parts arrived so it’s time to finish off the RRC and get it on the trail soon! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. It came out great!! Love it man!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I'm in a baseball game, but looking forward to getting out in June!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I see both, those who enjoy their mornings and move slow with a cooked breakfast and then others like Don who brew coffee while warming up the rig then roll! All works out, truth be told lots of traffic on the trail so always opportunity to grab food and get out of the car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. So did some web wrench working, new shocks for the RRC and shock towers( ugh wasn't what I was looking forward to[emoji2369]). Also finally remembered to order parking brake for the LR4 as that failed a month ago. So shortly I'll have some projects to finish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Wowers, tire did some damage! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. In Sacramento? Thinking maybe Gil? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Two tall dudes in an D2 would be really cozy... just saying. But August, really hot so tent is more for some privacy if needed. Lots of people just sleep on a pad in a sleeping bag. But some drinks and the fact that the trail gives toll on the body sleeping is easy. Ready made foods or mountain House are easy. Gallon of water person per day. There's quite of few portable toilets out on the trail too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Over the weekend we had a rovicon committee meeting while we swapped the power steering pump for the GM conversion. Really makes a difference! Also pulled the dead shocks off and dropped them off today to be rebuilt. Next up, replace the shocks and front bushings plus a track down a short I think might be in the steering wheel and should be ready for "rock season". Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. You're just missing rovicon!! [emoji869] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. It's on our calendar, just got a new promotion so have to see how the summer progresses. Randomly I have unlimited PTO, but feel there's probably a catch! [emoji848][emoji2369] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Why the hell not, I need to get mine on the RRC Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I thought so until I took it for a drive!! Heading out on Sunday to look at the transmission and see if we can get it to shift properly. Wasn't wanting to properly move out of 1st or 2nd. Also lost the PS Pump, so ordered the GM conversion and should be able to install that on Sunday. I picked up bead-locks with 37 SuperSwampers too, not sure when I'll put those on...but soon probably, need to see if they are decent.
  24. I want this and have a plan!! [emoji1696][emoji120] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Stoked to be out there!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
