We disperse camp right on the trail, about 500 yards from the Rubicon Trail Foundation Kiosk. So can drive into us as it's a short run or you can park at the staging area and walk over. On Friday however, we begin heading down the trail from 8am until 2pm so get there early if you want to see us head out. Still openings if your rig meets the requirements, but sign up soon as we'll be building the groups this week.

Ideally, you come up Thursday when you can, camp and take in the incredible scenery...then we start running groups Friday morning. If you can't make that work, just let us know when you'll be arriving so we have a group for you to run with on Friday. If we have enough interest, could do a run down to Uncle Tom's on Thursday night.

But also he does radio programing for the common used frequency and repeaters we are likely to use. He has some great radio reviews that help with purchase decisions. Plan to leave around 5-6, so expect to arrive before dark. I bought fire food to bring along, but then just checked fire restrictions and says to use native wood so I'll leave it behind. Hopefully we'll get off work earlier and head up.
