  1. I so want one!! Are they still available?? Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  2. Time to sneak down to the shop...peak around a little. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  3. Love to see a write up on the 110...[emoji6] Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  4. Yes, shipping was included and I paid less than what they offered so feel good about that...even better once they arrive! I did already swap to 98 rear DS. My angles at the moment work for the stock. But I can see some maintenance coming up on the front. Once I do change tires I'll change spring height too so that will require new DS. Maybe next year... 5. I was able to score a complete ARB locker set from a D90 that was being brought back to stock. Has 4.11 GBR gears and the rear is running upgraded axels from summers brothers racing that come in a 30 spline. All switches and the compressor are included. Ideally I'll just need to run new air hoses and set the electrical up. Really excited to get some proper gear on this thing and the lockers are awesome as well! Hopefully I'll get some great beers and bring them to Don's for remedial electrical lessons and a wrenching day.🤘 My wife is fearing this will speed up my desire to run 35s or dare say 37s...😁 http://www.ebay.com/itm/142384979753 Sent from my Nexus 9 using Tapatalk
  6. Finished the relocation kit, looking forward to seeing how it performs... possibly this Friday. Sent from my Nexus 9 using Tapatalk
  7. Finished up installing dif gaurds on the D1. Still working to finish the steering damper relocation kit/upgrade. Kit doesn't work well with stock steering so looking like I'll upgrade the steering links earlier than originally planned. But can think of worse... Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  8. Secured the washers and finished the fan clutch swap. Also mounted my sliders back up after painting them. Hopefully tomorrow I'll knock out the rear DS seal job.
  9. Fan clutch arrived so picked up the fan wrench and busted that thing off. Started to reassemble and the new fan is thinner than the old so I need to grab washers. Moved on to my rear flange replacement. Removed the drive shaft without issue but then realized I have the breaker pipe back to neighbor. So hopefully this weekend I'll close these out.
  10. Just two!! Much better than I am...I probably would have just left it out indefinitely. [emoji4]
  11. Changed the plugs and wires on the D1. Waiting on the new fan clutch and fan to arrive then changing that. Also ordered a new rear drive shaft flange kit as I was having issues with my used version.
  12. I was able to get some time in the garage and replace my alternator. Took me an hour or so as was my first time and had to sort out the proper tools. Hardest part was getting the belt back on but managed that fairly well. It's amazing how much quieter it is now. The old one had such a horrible vibration. So now onto more projects as I'm trying to get it to a point where I feel comfortable driving it good distances as I do enjoy it. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  13. Finally got the pinion out of the drive shaft flange!!! Now onto the rest of the work to get the drive shaft on...any luck I'll have it out on Saturday!! Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  14. This signal peak run won't work for me, wife works the night before so I'd have both kids in the morning and I'm not wanting to bring them on the first pass. I did sign up for the maze as that looks like an afternoon thing so we can all make it. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  15. Worked on fixing my rear passenger door on the D1 finally, it's been unable to lock/unlock for a year...little challenging fitting a socket into the door handle to remove the nuts but after that it was pretty smooth sailing. The plastic round clip had broke causing the lever connected to the locking mechanism to just hang. For a quick fix used a zip tie to secure the plastic piece and put it all back together. Little progress here and there...still working on my drive shaft swap out, hopefully I can get that done by DITD.
  16. So I haven't been keeping up on my efforts so I'll a recap of sorts. I ordered my 3" terrafirma long travel kit in late May as well started to order tools and the what not, moved into our new home in June and shortly after the kit arrived. Fast forward to July and Sacramento guys came by for DiTD at my place, what better way to break in a new house then leak all over the driveway. They were kind enough to bring me a cake for my birthday and more importantly their tools! http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160916/797ab14cc2d7cc1393ab90b4074f9a55.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160916/61d013b763387ce923769f9e384dc450.jpg So we pulled the Disco into the garage and began disassembling the stock setup. Here's the view before starting http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160916/a69e1fe3a1c29b9e2e4a47cb8b4b0e6f.jpg Made great progress that night and the following night Discobear was able to come by again after work and we put another huge effort in and we had the front driver side back together. From there I was able to do the other remaining corners. Unfortunately with work travel and having to work on after the kids were in bed it took me a full month. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160916/538e17d7978ebcd161d68f19011fc8d9.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160916/0320d2e3aa71d2d68215dcee5b555406.jpg From that point I was needing some help again, so luckily Discobear was able to help me install the rear trailing arms which required finesse to connect to the body mount. Later that week Jason was able to help me with setting the angle on the rear and then we installed the front castor corrected radius arms which was quite a PIA. From that point I was able to tie up a couple loose ends, installed a new tie rod end as I broke one getting the radius arms off. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160916/25a9865fe1a800e600f7ac78fde0d9de.jpg I backed it out of the garage as I was afraid it wouldn't fit with the new tires on. Getting the new tires on was fun but a quick trip around the block let me know I was rubbing as to be inspected with 255/85/16s on. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160916/e69c8cf8c37ed97d19aef9ba5ac72713.jpg So I spent some nights trimming the fends with help from Discobear and Nick I was able to clear some space. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160916/e94bbacc020f7e2f8e165c9054703660.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160916/b51ab187884b3f4d6401d19f9d6b53b7.jpg After that was all set I was ready for a maiden voyage, so we hit Sourgrass trail while enjoying a weekend with Nick and family. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160916/76757eafe5fd2b58d44cd14409f4caba.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160916/6e0da34452badaf427d76b1916da6b5a.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160916/84dced45bae3a353395656c2cf5d1f89.jpg Trail was great, suspension handled amazing and I was stoked to see how the combo of the tires and travel made the trail really easy. Was my first time driving a moderate trail in a truck that requires driver input, so thanks to Nick for coaching me and sending the wife to ride with his! [emoji4] Had my first trail repair as a break line came loose causing break fade and a mess! But was an easy fix. Upon returning home some things worked themselves out and it's apparent my radiator having troubles holding a load. Ran into on the Bowman lake trip some might recall, but was super noticeable this trip. So I'll be doing that upgrade before any future trips. Nick and Jason have recently done it and had great success. Also I'm still on the roto flex, I picked up a standard drive shaft Discobear and the attachment from Justin so just need to swap those out. Now that the truck has been sitting and I focusing on other new home request I've started to remove the headliner. Looking to fix that plus investigate my leaks and why the sun roofs don't open. Then last night I've picked up some type of new leak, guessing it's transmission or steering since it the reddish atf. But it's far up on the passenger side. So really stoked and excited about the truck but unfortunately some little things to sort through. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160916/e55ae7b3c53b63a3e970dc57b6e6b982.jpg
  17. A wheel manufacturer you say...hmm. Do we have Nexus options there? LR4 steel wheels sound interesting...
  18. Discovered a coolant leak during my lunch run, then spent the remaining time digging tools out of boxes and secured the leak.
  19. Say what?? No more trail rig? What's your plans?
