  1. Ok I finally figured out my schedule with the family. I will be heading to Hollister on Nov 12th for the day. I will be in my 94 D90 NAS along with a friend who will be in his D90 NAS. We will also open this up to Apple's 4x4 club so don't be surprised if we are with a few Jeeps. There is a special event at Hollister between Nov 9th and 13th so there are some partial closures in the Upper Ranch but Hudner Ranch is open. More details to follow.
  2. @Hudd130 and @LR4HD something has come up for me and I can't make 11/5 at Hollister work. But I am trying to see if I can get a small group of people together for 11/13. Do you have any interest in that?
  3. Is anyone still planning on going out 11/5? It’s been a few weeks since my 94 D90 NAS got dirty. Looking to do some blue trails to shake down some recent engine calibration changes.
  4. Thanks for the shout out. While we are a bit dominated by exotics and vintage sports cars we normally have a better showing of Land Rovers. We have three members with Defenders plus me so we usually have 2-3 D90s or D110 showing up. I am trying to get more Landy's to come out so we can add some British influence among the Italians and Germans. We did have an original competition Cobra along with an amazing Mercedes 300 SL roadster. Something for everyone.
  5. I have a 94 D90 ST NAS that is in good shape but I have begun to modify and restore it. In case you are interested in following along you can check out my blog which journals the progress. https://www.siliconvalleymotorclub.com/defender-90-build Here is the plan: suspension and tire upgrade (done)add some body armor (done)rock slidersreplace the bumper and add a winchrestore an original bench rear seat and add it to the truckrestore/replace the front seatsmodify the cubbyrestore the dashadd a fiberglass hard top for winter useMy goal is to make improvements here and there while keeping a lot stock. When I go aftermarket I will mostly do bolt-on and if I do it right I wont cross the line where you start to diverge from the spirt of the truck.
  6. My social club (Silicon Valley Motor Club) is having their monthly Cars and Coffee event in Portola Valley on June 26th from 8:30 - 10:30. My 94 Defender 90 NAS ST or my Sprinter van conversion will be there and I would love to get more Land Rovers to show up to break up all the exotics. Last month we had over 100 amazing cars and three Defenders show up. More info below. Club Website: https://www.siliconvalleymotorclub.com Event Calendar: https://www.siliconv...ub.com/calendar
  7. Thanks. It’s the beginning of a long project but the base is good. Just need to reverse some prior owner mods, do some of my own, and enjoy the car. Stay tuned on new postings for the blog.
