Put in a new tank, pump, and sending unit. Got the buggy running and driving again. The kingpins need rebuilding before it can drive without the wheels nearly falling off. But this is progress.

Plan to leave around 5-6, so expect to arrive before dark. I bought fire food to bring along, but then just checked fire restrictions and says to use native wood so I'll leave it behind.
Hopefully we'll get off work earlier and head up.

Lots of Fire roads, specifically #14 in the book is Slate Mountain Trail which is nearby that goes to a fire lookout.
Hard to say what the conditions with all the snow will be like, but there is a lot to explore by where we are headed...lot's of lakes.
Plus Uncle Tom's cabin is just minutes away!

I'll bring the distinguished gentlemen to camp and ride with Don/Eric and whoever else and grab some pictures and escape the challenges of life...plus give life to my garage queen!

Last night I finally made time to work on the rover!
Nothing major, but I was able to mess my disc brake conversion kit and now know how it all bolts together.
Hopefully some more progress this week!

You'll need to contact them if you want to use their cabins or bring a trailer.
Welcome, to AirBnB in the area or whatever fits your family's needs.
Great place to relax, fish, hike, and of course hit the trails!!
