    Sounds great! I plan to go, unless I’m running behind on Rovicon prep. If I go, I should be able to do early Friday start.

    Found a place where there are more Rovers than Jeeps (I counted). “Montauk: Where Defenders go to retire!” I lost count of how many well groomed ones I’ve seen.

    If I have time to get D2 ready (put back exhaust and fix the hub leak) I'll be there. I'll have a few days right before the MORG to do this, so I would say the chances are high that I will come. This is of corse if the trail is open.

    Yep! I remember hearing abound “bundles” and “cords”, but I keep asking for them at Safeway and they say they never heard of those. I think they are just urban legends🤔

    Ok. I’ll bring a box of wood then.

    What is the plan for firewood? I might have missed the answer in all the posting, but I’m getting close to the shopping and it would be good to know if I should get a box.

    I’ll bring a miscellaneous collection of LR3 parts. Of note is an alternator and an AMK style compressor. The hope is that it means neither will malfunction 😉

    I plan to bring a standard (110/120V) charger for Baofeng and a 12V one for the larger capacity battery I have. I'm happy to give the standard one to Nathan. He'll need an inverter to use it though.

    I will bring 10 gallons of fuel and don't expect to need much of it, so it can be used as reserve.

    Where will we end the trail? I’m trying to figure out if I will be able to make it home by the end of June 2, or if it will have to be a two day drive.

    Starting to drive now. Will hit traffic, so should get to the campground around 9pm.

    I'm bringing an ignition coil, break light switch, bulbs, plastic thermostat crossover housing, used sway bar links, coolant overflow bottle, and possibly an alternator.

    Hope the shocks get fitted, electrical gremlins do not go above "annoying" level, and we'll see you on the trail!

    My plan is to leave Santa Cruz around midday on Friday and head to Stumpy, or to whatever destination is communicated through StarLink. I will be coming by myself.

    Was parked in front of Scarborough in Scotts Valley on Saturday a week ago.

    Sounds very tempting, but unfortunately I'll have to skip the trip: things to do at home. Will wait to see the pictures.

    Thank you all for the input! I'll register and start looking for dislocation cones and add spring retainers.

    I would love to come, but want to run Hell Hole first to gauge how ready is I/D2 combo. I haven't found any limits on trucks/people. Am I right to think that I will not have a problem with registering in mid-June?

    It might already have a 4wd and even a low range. I think some of these old vans did…
