Easy enough for stock trucks This is a MORG - all Rover owners and all vehicle models are welcome to join! Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I can't make it up till the evening so I will meet everyone there friday night and we can head out on the trail saturday morning We will follow roughly same route as the 2017 trip Temps will probably be in the 60s during the day and 50s at night. There is also a high potential to rain or at least wet fog.  
Friday: Usal Beach area camp
Saturday: Usal Beach to Needle Rock in the Sinkyone Wilderness area
Sunday: stop over at Shelter Cove, then head home at your leisure.
 
I attached the gpx track as well if anyone wants them (they're not perfect).

Excited to get back out there!

October makes me miss Baja.  Who knew it snowed in Mexico...  This photo is from our last trip in 2018 with Baja Land Rover Club where we went Sierra de San Pedro Martir National Park to visit an observatory.  The elevation was about 9,280 ft.  
There was a truck that had slid off the edge on a hill and so we lined up all the rovers to get enough traction (each attached to each other) and winched it out.  I thought I had a photo or video of that, but can't find it.
By the end of the day, we were down the mountain and the snow was gone... and a few days later, we were sleeping on the beach.  
 

Anyone interested in meeting up at Humble Sea Tavern in Felton this week for beers and grub?  They are closed Mondays and Tuesday, but would be great to catch up with some locals if anyone is around this area.

Not a rover, but it’s something worth looking at. This has been cruising around my area since the late 90’s. 

It looks like we will be leaving SF tomorrow morning at the pre-crack of dawn.... looking forward to seeing everyone! 

Basically packed at this point... at least the essentials.
We will be leaving SF soon after my daughter is out of school. 4-hour drive with the family will easily turn into 5 or 6. Expecting an afterdark arrival...

I will likely have a limited number of others (Red Lager, Oatmeal Stout, Belgian Tripel and Pre Pro Lager) as well, depending on space left in the rig. 
I wish I had the time and space for custom orders (on call for Jury Duty).

Side note…if anyone has a propane fire feel free to bring it as there is a wood burn ban. 

I’m planning to go if spot is still available. It will be my first trip with the club. My LR4 is bone stock with rear locker. 

Really wanted to make this, but my 2yo had a long overdue play date.

Now that he's more comfy in the 90... I anticipate we'll be going on more trips.

Just back into Templeton from the Big Sur MORG. Unreal sunset and great conversation. The highlight was the climb out of camp this morning up a rutty, super-cakey dust run -- with me making a total of 4 attempts to finally get up and over in my RRC. The New Defender, LR4's and the RRS made it all look too easy. Eric's RRC BW TC did it's job as well...!

Great trip, thanks Mario! The Classic had its issues this trip, but we made it home without pulling out the AAA card. It was good to get out there and hang with friends and also meet some cool people for the first time. The wheeling highlight was definitely that steep hill we all had to conquer to get out of camp. It was pretty dang steep and covered with silt and undulating moguls dug out by spinning tires. Made for some fun spectating. Can’t wait to see all the videos of everybody going up.

Great driving, conversations and views! Lady Nyx did great on the obstacle! Rear locker & air down did wonders. Thanks so much Mario for the organization! Looking forward to the next!

Oh and a BIG thanks to Yohan for the: 1) tarp for shade at camp, 2) the flashlight for wifey and 3) the air-down kit for the hill...!

I think Merlyn and I (and 2 dogs) are in! The classic runs and stops currently so I ought to take advantage and use it. Barring any unforeseen setbacks with the classic, we will be camping
