  1. Those are metal, they were stuck to the magnet. Who knows how may more are in the T-box.
  2. I forgot to mention this is from the LT230 in the D1...any suggestions...get a questionable one from Pick-n-Pull, a rebuilt one or rebuild current T-Box...
  3. Getting home the other day had a clunking noise…so today pulled the drain plug from the transfer case…look what I found…will JB Weld fix this?
  4. well not as bad as I first though, found fitting going to the steering box from the power steering fluid reservoir loose. I woulda swore it was tight when I put in the new box.
  5. Yeah, unfortunately I'm not sure I can make it either. I believe the power steering pump gave up on me this morning on the way to work in the D1 and the LR3 is giving me transmission faults...☹️
  6. I'm in...just needed to do a brake fluid flush this weekend...I'm also open to do it on a different weekend if needed.
  7. I’m saddened that due to no confirmed interest in going to Mendo this weekend I’m going to cancel this months MORG.
  8. Oh yes, the trip is scheduled for the first weekend in November to it's the 4th and 5th.
  9. Hello All, My bad on not getting the word out sooner. So Cris's Gaia track is pretty much what I had in mind. Except we won't lollypop the route, I have in mind to exit at Lake Pillsbury and continue through Potter Valley then on to Hwy 101. I suggest we meet at 8 O'clock at the Chevron off of Dixon Landing (1551 California Cir, Milpitas, CA 95035. It would be nice to leave at 8:30 for the town of Upper Lake where we will start the "trail". There is another Chevron at 775 CA-20, Upper Lake, CA 95485 where we can top off our tanks before heading off. This should be a mild trip. I did it a few years back with Mario and the roads were quite easy. However I don't know how much of an impact this past winter or the fires have had on the roads. Where exactly we will camp Saturday night is yet to be determined.
  10. Safeway parking lot in Campbell
  11. The way you guys are talking with all the spare parts you'd think Land Rovers are unreliable.
  12. South bound on 17 in Los Gatos
  13. all right, I slapped some new rear brake pads into the D1 tonight...just in time too, almost metal on metal...Kinda fixed the countertop shelf on the back door (needs a little work still)...but i'm head out tomorrow afternoon, leaving Mountain View/Sunnyvale around 4:30...Robert maybe we can connect on the way out of town...
  14. I'm gonna do my best to be there. Just gotta change the pads on the rear brakes and reattach the swing down counter to the back door. No problem!
  15. Spotted these in a Belgium in the same car park when I was there week before last. There are a lot running around over there. Saw a cool D2 but couldn't get a photo.
  16. Seen last month on a farm outside Lille, Belgium
  17. Okay so this didn't happen today, but who's checking. I'm sure glad Miles let me pull the D1 into the garage for this job, cause it was dumping rain outside. Brake pads are weird, one was okay still but the other took a dump on the way home from work. So a brake job was in order.
