  1. We should have the new cards by end of month, but not by this weekend : (
  2. As of right now, I expect the best we can do is leave around 5pm on Friday. So we will see you guys in camp!
  3. Here is a wet Wednesday post from the May MORG - it turns out there was plenty of snow left!
  4. I'll be sending out a detailed itinerary, but on the night of the 25th we will be targeting Oriental, Gold Dredge, and/or Driftwood. Ideally everyone will spend the night here so we can depart timely in the morning. Below is an unfinalized draft.
  5. That is a good question... we are dancing in and out of various Federal and State agency operated lands... I've made a note to check this. Will aim to get this info into the final attendee packets. (ambitious... I know)
  6. @SLOHybrid and @PaulD I hope you guys can attend with your RRCs! Us old folks are outnumbered once again! Gotta pump those numbers 🤣 Current truck count: LR3 - x3 LR4 - x1 Range Rover L405 - x1 Range Rover L322 - x1 Newfender 110 - x1 Defender 110 - x1 Defender 90 - x1 RRC - x1
  7. Days 4 and 5 are roughly in place! A couple more phone calls and we will be solid to the 29th. Spoke to Mike this weekend and they will be meeting us on Sunday. I'll double check weather as we get closer, but if temps are cooler, we may swing our transit day corridor back to the West rather than shooting over and up through Nevada. @pilotgabe checked in on the snow reports and we should be good to go by the time the trip comes around. Most places along our route are either melted or well on their way to be! June 24th, Transit Day 1: Bay Area, CA to Rye Patch, NV June 25th, Transit Day 2: Rye Patch, NV to Dale, OR area June 26th, Trail Day 1: Dale to Sumpter June 27th, Trail Day 3: Sumpter to Crane Creek June 28th, Trail Day 4: Crane Creek to Cheatum Holler June 29th, Trail Day 5: Cheatum Holler to Squaw Butte (near Riley OR) June 30th, Trail Day 6 ... July 1st, TBD July 2nd, Transit Day: to Home Stay tuned...
  8. CYCLGZT.... A Turkish bicyclist with a wonderful sense of vehicular style??
  9. Caption: "NCLR Recovery! ASSEMBLE!!!!!" ~shouted in over the top comic book fashion of course
  10. Thank you Mario for organizing this one! A great trip it was! Whilst the snow blocked forward progress it certainly couldn't stop a enjoyable weekend! @brandn3w it was great to meet you and the lady! Hope we can catch up again soon. Photos can be added to the club photo album here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/jAKp2hRyiPL9ZkQbA (the album should not compress full res images : ).
  11. We've got this one, I've definitely found it useful. See everyone tomorrow! Here's the weather for the weekend:
  12. Sorry for the dirty window... but spotted a very yellow discovery XD Anyone in our club?
  13. Stickers and patches are in! just a reminder, be sure to sign up by tomorrow to get T-shirt sizes in! We'll do our best to accommodate the late signups as best we can.
  14. I'd love to camp Friday in addition to Saturday night, but not sure if we can make it up that far with work. TBD, but for sure we will meet you all at the gas station!
  15. Yep I got that message too. I'm not phased. Rather, I'd be stoked for a slush run in June! ; ).
  16. We are planning on going still! @El Chapomint what's the head count? Might want to put the new plan in the first post for easy access : ).
  17. Every little bit adds up to big progress! : ). I'm in the same boat, my life is becoming consumed by home renovation and trip planning... the rover projects are now maintenance oriented and less awesome possum upgrades.
  18. @CRYA in regards to you jumping in on the 27th, we will be in Sumpter, OR the morning of the 27th until 1:00PM. If that works for you let me know. The 28th... I think we will pass through Seneca for a fuel stop, but this one is still evolving and the window will be fairly tight. Granted, Jeff made it work last year in Primm, NV! : ).
  19. And then... only 5 spots remain. Get your spots quick. I'll be placing the T-shirt order on May 18th in hopes we have them in time for the trip. If you want a shirt guaranteed please be sure to sign yourself and your passengers up before then.
  20. We have marked our calendar and plan on being there!
  21. Once the full itinerary is iron clad planned I’ll post it up. But yes there are a good number of spots where folks could join or depart. This trip won’t be near as remote as the EMHT or DV trips… though civilization in this case will basically be defined as having a gas pump, burgers, and asphalt - not much else. if you can give details on the day of join/departure I can have a better idea of feasibility. tomorrow I’ll try to figure out where we will be on the 27th-28th
