Let's just say "major" mechanical repairs aren't exactly kosher at our current rental... granted, I don't think I have attempted anything major... although, I may also not be the best judge of that. And you should have seen the ooze dripping off that block before I painted it!

This looks excellent! Never though of using poultry flooring. This last weekend Theresa and I scrubbed out the Defender, tracked down some rattles, ordered far too many parts, and did an oil change. As an added bonus we got booted from the HOA guest parking spot for scrubbing the interior.... If only my garage were taller...

Replaced the crusty fan belt, decided the fan mount rubbers were shot too so I ordered those and a spare rim. And today the steering guards came in so hopefully they will get put on tonight as well .

Theresa went for a ride in the Defender and saw it in person for the first time since we bought it in February. I'm allowed to keep it!
