Mffoster replied to lithium1330's topic in NCLR Scheduled Trips and Event Information
We're thinking of going, especially if the weather is nice. -
Moab - April 2024

A possibility! Just a lot of highway miles in the 110. -
Possibly the most relaxing MORG we’ve been on. Campsite and fire was all set by the time we got there - later than expected because a truck rolled on I80 and closed it near the CA line. Weather was beautiful, trail was relaxing with just a couple of tricky spots to challenge Sascha’s D3 (or 4). Incredible scenery, and with time to explore as Chris noted we found some great camp sites for future trips. Crossing the private land was fine, the owner said there is an easement to use the road as long as we didn’t camp on the private property. But most importantly great friends to hang out with!

Another great trip, was able to spend time catching up with people I only see a couple of times a year at club events. Probably the biggest turnout of D90’s so far! My good friend Robert rode along with me until Sunday morning and took a ton of pictures, it’s so great to watch the different trucks work each obstacle. This is my favourite trip each year, although I can do without max stress moments like when the truck stalled in front of the crowd on the lower part of Big Sluice (Property Line?). Until next time!!! -

I’m up for the run backwards with Eric and Don. They’ll be able to tow me up big sluice with my little tires. -

It should take about 2 hours for us to get to the lake. We’re planning on leaving around noon. We’ll update with our actual departure time. -

I’ve sold a set of brakes and rotors from one of my cars to a guy that lives in Livermore. If I bring them along this weekend was wondering whether someone that lives closer to there might carry the brakes home so that the buyer could pick them up without having to drive all the way to to Reno. Thanks! -

Sure hope so, Leigh Anne and I have been waiting for this! Of course, there are other places close by if needed. -
