  1. Leigh Anne and I are set in a little cabin thing at the KOA in Needles for Sat night. Looks like a 9-10 hr drive down from Reno, so we should be there by around dinner time. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. I’ll be putting in a request for an extra 6 pack or 2! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. I can’t seem to access the Google photo link, it says I need permission? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. I wouldn’t buy chains just for this trip, but if you have some bring them along! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. It’s about an hour from the main starting point in Auburn to Washington CA. Since I’m coming from Reno I’ll plan on meeting the group in Washington at 11:00-11:15 like the last trip. Really hoping the side-by-sides are somewhere else this weekend! Mike F Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I’ll be there. Leigh Anne might come depending on how cold it is.
  7. Looks like a fun trip, Leigh Anne and I would prefer one of the first 2 weeks. Have filled in the survey.
  8. I’ll have an open seat to ride in my truck as well if you want.
  9. Great write up, bummer about your rear diff. At least it was on the way home!
  10. Leaving Reno at 9:30. Will have radio on, phone 7755012991 just in case
  11. Sounds good - 110 it is and I’ll be at the Hotel in Washington between 11:00 and 11:30. Will have my radio on the regular channel.
  12. Is the planned route from Washington to Bowman Lake up Rt21 or N Bloomfield-Graniteville Rd? Trying to decide which truck to take. If we're just potentially pushing deep snow on paved roads I can bring the D110. If we'll be offroad and more likely to hit ditches/stumps/rocks and stuff I can drive the 90 which has a winch and more skidplates. Full chains fit either one.
  13. Forgot to mention that I’ll probably camp over Sat night.
  14. This is so close to Reno I have to go! If the main group is headed up Rt20 from Auburn then I’ll meet up near where Washington Road hits Rt20. There’s the Jefferson Creek Scenic overlook on Rt20 less than a quarter mile from the Washington Rd intersection on the south (Auburn) side. The group will drive right past, so that would be a good place for me to wait - a nice view while making coffee!
  15. Asked for permission to run a 35” tire trail, was rejected as I pretty much expected.
  16. Signed up for the run. Applied for the same trails (with additional info asking to go with 33s), we’ll see what they say.
  17. I’m up for this as long as a few more club members go - looks like Andrew is already set, I would camp in the same area. Would like to do any of the deep snow runs, limited to the 33” tire class.
  18. A suggestion for the raffle would be to allow the first number picked to go and select first from the various items, then pick the second number out of the hat to select second and so on. “Special items” or the big ticket prize would be separate from the rest. This would help ensure that people have a better chance of winning something they can actually use.
  19. A set of new take off shocks for a Defender, Classic Range Rover or Disco 1, new take off front shock turrets, new Warn hawse fairlead (cast steel or iron, good for wire or synthetic winch line)
  20. Leigh Anne and I will be coming, please save one tent site for us. New neighbor with a slightly built LR4 would like to join club, will encourage him to come.
  21. Leigh Anne and I are heading out from Reno on Thursday, will be in Moab Thursday night or Friday morning/lunch. We have a little cabin booked at the Canyonlands RV park on the south side of town. We’re looking forward to making a couple of runs or preruns on Saturday and Sunday.
  22. And we plan on being there Thursday afternoon, by the way. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Making some progress putting my truck back together. Scary find today - one of the massive cables wired straight from the battery to the winch had been rubbing the steering linkage and had worn through the insulation in one spot. Lucky it was the ground (I think)! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Planning ahead this time, got my truck just about set for the Rubicon. Just need to put on the rear axle, and a new clutch, and the transmission, and re-gear the transfer case… Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
