  1. Leigh Anne and I would like to come along, good trip for the 110! Mike F Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I’d like to join up for this, give my 110 a break-in trail run. I’ll probably drive down from Reno Friday morning, bee there by 10:00. Mike F Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Change of plans, Leigh Anne and I will not be able to make the trip. Her father had a severe stroke, so we’re off to Florida first thing tomorrow morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Anyone happen to be coming up from/through Stockton this weekend? I have a set of wheels being made at Stockton Wheel Service that should be done by the end of this week. It would be great if someone was able to give them a lift up to the camping trip at White Rock Lake. Thanks, Mike Foster Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. At the trailhead at 1:45, looking for the camp area. Frst one here? In my green D90. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I’ve put this on my calendar. Could be the first trip with the D110! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. I’ll probably head over from Reno with my wife Thursday morning/early afternoon and look for any other Land Rovers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Think I drove from Wentworth straight through to Rubicon Springs when I last did this. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Wait, I might be confusing it with Buck Island Lake. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Wait, Loon Lake is half way in on the Rubicon if I remember right. So camp at Loon Lake on the 27th but start the trail on the 28th? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Been meaning to say that I’ve put this on my calendar. But... what are the dates as of now? I’m flying out to the UK on July 2nd, so I’d like to be back home in Reno at least a day before. Mike F Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Scheduling question - We hit the trail Sunday morning, and camp Sunday and Monday nights. I had my reservation at Basecamp starting Tuesday night, but is the plan to camp Tuesday night as well? Mike F Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Radio... Bought a Baofeng UV-82HP that should work on the frequencies Don recommended. Don’t have a Ham call sign, but I’ll work something out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Great, that’s what I thought but I’ve never been there. Leigh Anne and our dog have decided to stay home, so I’ll be on my own for this drive. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I’m starting to pack for the trip, and will be driving straight through from Reno to Grand Junction on Saturday. I’ll load my cooler for the first couple of days on the Kokopelli trail. Are there markets somewhere close in Moab to pick up more food once we get to the Basecamp Lodge - I booked a room there starting Tuesday the 19th. Mike F Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Getting closer to the Kokopelli/Moab trip. Schedule still the same - plan on starting from Grand Junction at about 9:00 AM on the 17th? I’m putting the winch back on the front of my D90 and topping up all the oils. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. I’m booked at the Basecamp Adventure Lodge Place. Not many updates on this trip, but I’m planning on going over from Reno and my wife may come along. Mike F Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Well, this trip is on my calendar and I’ve sent a reservation request to the Basecamp Adventure Lodge for March 19-22. My plan is to meet the group in Grand Junction on the 16th and drive along the Kokopelli Trail through to Moab. My wife Leigh Anne will most likely not come - she really doesn’t like long drives in a soft top Defender. I stopped working a couple of years ago and am finally getting back into to playing with my trucks. I’ll probably be driving my 94 NAS D90 that I’ve had since new. It’s fairly well set up with 33†tires, GBR super duper 4.14 gears with Truetracs front and rear and an ARB bumper with a Warn M1000. I met Don Happel and others at the WNLRR this past fall. He was the leader for a couple of trails I took and I managed to keep up fairly well. I did end up replacing all my shocks (both rears broke - fairly new OME’s) with Fox 2.0 remote reservoirs. 19. I’m interested in this trip. Would be coming over from Reno, probably with my D90. Is this a “guys trip†or will wives/partners be coming along? My wife would not want to be a sole lady on the trail. Mike Foster Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
