    Hey hey!
So sorry for taking so long to get details up for our Nov MORG but it is right around the corner! See all the deets below as they stand. Can't wait to see ya'll there!
We will head up to run Niagara Rim.

    When: Nov. 2nd and 3rd

What: Nov. MORG - overnight camping optional.

    Where: Niagara Rim
Meetup Location: Arco gas station in Sonora https://maps.app.goo.gl/dsG8sLdjUpLTAGYz5
Meeting Time: 09:30AM  Things to know:
Moderate level trail but do able in a stock truck. More difficult sections have bypasses. This is a MORG - all Rover owners and all vehicle models are welcome to join! If you have a friend that is a rover-head and wants to get a taste for the NCLR club life this would be a good trip. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I will be coming from San Francisco if anyone wants to meet up along the way we can coordinate
Message if you have any questions or concerns, my number is 415-672-4326

    Peace and love,
    Mario

Would love to do this but don't know what my job situation will be at that time so not sure I can take any time off for at least a year once I find a new job.  Boo.

For those just tuning in, the Rebelle Rally is on it's 9th year!  Saturday is the final leg and currently no Land Rovers in the top 10, but there is an Ineos Grenadier in the 9th spot as of earlier today.
There is also a Land Rover USA sponsored team running a 2024 Defender 130 this year so that is pretty exciting!
You can watch them talk about their 2023 planning journey here:

There are five episodes this is just episode 1.  Check out the video playlist for all 5 episodes: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxFX6Nyf8pil1ZEGOqSBcYazAPN4ihDk0

Liza and Jenna are currently in 14th place so not too bad actually.  Anyway, can't wait to see the finish line!

Overall a good visit to the friends up North. Lots of Series trucks in attendance. Lots of cool folks.
Tim Cooper was thee showcasing some of the new axle work he is putting together. Should be some new offerings soon!
A few folks sounded like they would be interested in joining us on a few MoRGs.
Johann passed out some NCLR swag, and we shared some donuts.
On the way back Snowflake stalled at the base of 17 before the grade. Odd.
Then at the Summit offramp Snowflake died again on the steep section... very odd. Took a bit of deep peddle to get it to turn over. Ran fine back to the house but the tick is now more of a tock... the volume has increased.

Guess I'll be pulling valve covers next weekend for an inspection. Is a 4.2L swap imminent? The Rover gods only know at this point.

    Hey Fam!

I am looking for a better solution for containing all my camping gear and just stuff for the truck. I was wondering what the people have and like or things you've been looking at.

Currently, the Front Runner boxes or Pelican boxes are high on my list. If I win the lotto anytime soon I would love to get Zarges boxes but alas until then. I would ideally like them to be weatherproof or really rugged so they can be put on the roof rack when I get one.

    Thanks!

Snowflake survived Black Rock and I really want to burn in that engine tick before I troubleshoot and decide to swap in the 4.2L ; ) - so who wants to go up and check out the SF Bay meetups?

8-10am in the Larkspur Ferry Terminal north of San Francisco. It's also Fleet Week - rovers in the morning, planes in the afternoon?
Let me know if you are interested and I'll meet you there or carpool up!

Thank you, Tyler and Julia for your hospitality and for showing off your amazing “backyard”.
I enjoyed the trip tremendously. Playa, petrified wood, stories from the past. All of it was great.
Kudos to Wood for a sumptuous meal of pizza and pie, and to Julia and Theresa for the cobbler top off!
Looking forward to the next club trip. Lost Coast?

Thank you Tyler and Julia for a fun weekend! Mike and I enjoyed seeing where the Burning Man festival is held - Black Rock City, driving on the Playa, driving along portions of the emigrant route and hearing its history (thanks Marvin). As usual, the club members who attended were great to hang with. Leigh Anne
