  1. Due to the heavy rains, the trip has been postponed. If possible, new dates will be updated.
  2. New weather from Apple maps at Clearlake - even LESS rain Saturday - just a misting. Going to be epic.
  3. Getting Excited with this Bomb Cyclone currently underway. But my Apple Weather app says Saturday night is going to be good. As we head North out of the Bay Area - we will be closer to the end of the storm. Let's Do This !
  4. Sorry to hear. Just checked OnX and two people ran it yesterday. Screen shots below. No issues.
  5. It looks like we are going to get some rain Wednesday - Saturday. Saturday and Sunday look better. I will pack a large tarp to string between some trees to cover the fire and food. Mud will make it interesting! 😇. Pack your wellies as the British would say. 🥾
  6. ********Trip Postponed. - Heavy Rain. Hey hey! NEW TRIP - Short time frame - Late November BONUS MORG See all the deets below as they stand. Can't wait to see ya'll there! We will head up into the Mendocino NF and take the East to West Mendo Discovery Corridor. Get some dirt on the rig before the relatives arrive on Thursday ! From OnX - A 44-mile east-to-west route through Mendocino National Forest. Official route starts at Stonyford OHV Staging Area and ending at Middle Creek OHV Staging Area. Great views of mountains, valleys, and Clear Lake towards the end. Campsites are plentiful along the route. The trail does get increasingly narrow as you traverse previous wildfire deadfall and debris. Phone service is spotty at best; download offline maps for the area. Maybe pizza from the oven Saturday night ????? When: November 23rd and 24th, 2024 What:. MORG - Mendo National Forest Where: Mendocino NF Meetup Location: Chevron on CA-53 in Lower Lake https://maps.app.goo.gl/fssr66anXfMHBVK36 Meeting Time: 09:00 AM Option: If you are coming in from I-5 - Exit Maxwell - we can meet in Lodoga at the fire department - https://maps.app.goo.gl/QzCT9H7FjdstHNtq8 at 11:00 am Things to know: Easy enough for stock trucks but more fun than just another fire road. Bring a chain saw, if at all possible. Weather looks good. Past rains will keep dust down. Maybe snow at higher elevations. This is a MORG - all Rover owners and all vehicle models are welcome to join! If you have a friend that is a rover-head and wants to get a taste for the NCLR club life this would be a good trip. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I will be coming from Hwy 101 / Calistoga Road - in Santa Rosa if anyone wants to meet up along the way we can coordinate Attendance: Wood + Passenger Robert Dingli + RRS Motobrewer Message if you have any questions or concerns, my number is 707-703-9596 Wood
  7. A little bit of everything 1999 and newer
  8. Epic trip and incredible awaking to a winter womderland at the camp site. New to me RTT was impressive.
  9. We are at camp. IGNORE the red marks on Google Maps. Road is OPEN. We are in the back of the campground. Spot #6
  10. @jcb and @Jared Amaral and I - @woodwelsh are in Twain Harte eating a late lunch. Sonora Pass is closed per Road Signs. We think our camp spot is before the closure. We will head out and check it out. If we lose cell - we will be at the campground specified earlier. See you in the morning.
  11. Sounds excellent. What time Friday? You can also take this offline - Phone 707-703-9596
  12. I would be interested in Friday camp, also.
  13. I'm in. Looking forward to it. Wood
