Well my latest PET scan and numbers came back and my little trespasser has unfortunately grown and spread so they are putting me back on the gnarly chemo starting next Tuesday (have been on a maintenance regimen which was not so debilitating), that basically wipes me out for at least a week, so I am going to have to bail.

Difficult to find the words to describe how bummed I am to miss this.

    Sorry mates.

So sorry to hear Jeff . Wishing for a speedy recovery.

So I do have a tour now on Saturday 11th in the afternoon so we'll be making a late night to get to camp. Also found out my nephew will be running in state championship for high school on Friday the 17th. So we'll have to cut my trip a little short and exit out on the 15th. So I can get my mom to the airport so she can go watch him run. Finally good news though I picked up a new Rover and can't wait to try it out off-road.

    Excited about the trip!

Just got back from SCARR and trying to patch the D2 back together.  The 1-2 punch including the Moab trip busted the driveshafts and the rear diff / TrueTrac is dead.  Working with Tom Woods now on the driveshaft and machining an adapter plate to mate the Rover D2 standard flange yoke configuration to a stronger 1350 / 1410.

Question - is it typically windy?  planning what my sleeping plans will be.  Maybe skip the RTT and do with either groud tent or just sleep inside the D2 Sasha style.

it can get  windy especially at night.  prob be around high 90s during the day and 65 to 75 at night

I forgot to mention this is from the LT230 in the D1...any suggestions...get a questionable one from Pick-n-Pull, a rebuilt one or rebuild current T-Box...

Are those metal chucks or rubber?

If you got time id rebuild it at the same time you can upgrade it to a HD cross pin or even a atb .Rebuild kits are around 135 plus shipping from Ashcroft .If you need it done im sure Tim Scully could do it or Matt Jackson down is paso does good work.

Colin -  your updates were perfect : ). If only I'd have been checking my phone.

Will work on getting a writeup done in a couple days.

In the meantime, here is a Google Photos album link:  https://photos.app.goo.gl/9iexe4RJE72Weenp9

    Upload and enjoy!

Added some more photos was a great time thanks. Made it home around 6:30 had a headwind so couldn't get over 50mph . 😂

I’ll have one seat for the trail, if none of my kids go. I’ll know by the mid-week.

Right on I'll let him know . Now I just got to find a place so you can park his car but I think there's a little parking lot on the highway to the trail
