Mffoster
It should take about 2 hours for us to get to the lake. We’re planning on leaving around noon. We’ll update with our actual departure time.

Mr.BlueSky
Well. Wife did not work out in our favor, so we will now be hitting Truckee right around 5 to

Andrew Wood
Running into lots of traffic and starting to get leg cramps so I pulled over to take a break and have a beer(for the leg cramps) I should arrive in Truckee around 3-3:30 and at the lake 4-4:30 Mr.BlueSky and Jethro
Mffoster
Great trip (except the mosquitoes). Thanks to Miles for setting this up. Was great to see out camping Andrew again, looking forward to the Rubicon! Jethro and Andrew Wood

NCLR074
Great trip. Beautiful spot right on the lake. Enjoyed sitting in the water with a beverage. Hiked around the lake was awesome. Had to leave on Saturday. Hit a massive thunderstorm and rain in Truckee. Did you guys get that at the campsite? CRYA
Nice! How's that Rivian? We weren't able to make it but I was curious what the approximate travel time is from town of Truckee to hitting the lake?
Mr.BlueSky
The Rivian did really well. Granted, the most technical bit was the last bit down to the lake. (Sparsely scattered small boulders). Really nothing of a challenge at all. The R1T had plenty of ground clearance and almost double that of Snowflake's-diff-to-ground. Trip from Truckee to White Rock takes about 45-60 minutes depending on how fast you take the washboards. We entered from Truckee and exited through Bowman, with the regenerative braking, Dan only consumed 7% of the pack capacity. In contrast, Snowflake sucked down 25% of a tank of fuel. So the Classic was once again more range limited than an EV. Andrew Wood, CRYA and Tyler Mattson 2
