Definitely came up to the air intake on my LR3 but luckily wasn't sucked in past the filter. The drain at the bottom of the filter box must have done it's job. It had rained the previous day so that didn't help, hopefully you guys have better weather! Is there a reccomended camping location I could get gps cords for? We checked out the casino (Harrahs) that takes dogs but there is an $85 per night pet fee.. PaulD Posted January 5, 2020 Report Share Posted January 5, 2020 Back from this run Thursday night (1-2-20)... The Afton Canyon water crossing was passable IMO but we played it safe and did a go-around at Basin Road. The Soda Lake part was muddy and you had to keep your speed up to keep FWD momentum. Balancing Rock is supper cool.There was snow on the ground all through the Joshua Tree forest on the Day 2 part. Terrible wind at Mojave Camp west of Kelso. Cold nights! I circled back to Baker and did a solo loop up to the Silurian Mountains and DV, around to Shoshone and back on pavement there.
