  1. Wow Robert! Serious bling...! As for the DV trip, I think we should let Michele (Don's) partner, direct the wish-list of places to see on the itinerary. Titus Canyon is right up there. I suspect that the nice cabins outside of Ballarat are getting too popular, but the climb up there is a great run.

Eureka dunes was almost deserted when we were there. Boxcar was taken when we passed by. I'm sure minietta was too. That's popular. There are some nice concrete pads on the way to defense thst are great to camp on. Huge and flat.

anyone seen the state of Stella's lately? last time we were there the pipe from the spring was broken and all of the trees around the cabin were dead.. would love to fix that .

Briggs is always a favourite also

I like starting @ Eureka dunes and down to Saline springs

Defense mine after Panamint is fun too especially for kids in the mine

I am totally up for something new though too

Stayed at Russell 3 nights ago. Checked out Stella too. Water at both.russell has room for more rigs

  3. Okay Guys & Gals... The Rogue tag-alongs are out...Whew! Makes logistics a LOT easier. Meanwhile, the weather might be getting more "interesting." We had snow on the Lanfair plain last year at this time, and we might have some on this run. Will have to track the Soda Lake precipitation situation as well.

I am running out to pre-run the 1st 80 miles early next week and will report in to master leader Lutzi by cell phone.

    Stay tuned!

If we get weather it will just make it more memorable! If we get another rig with an awning we can park them awning to awning and make a nice dry area. I did that with tiger dan once and it work out great.

  4. Getting Psyched...?!? My thoughts on fuel: You can never have enough...! Peace of mind for me personally... If you have the room, i would bring plenty of extra gas or diesel just to keep from being limited. On both of my previous trips on this route, people had to bail out to civilization to go secure more fuel (gas)... oh, and we had an RRC that was overheating.

The weather at this point looks cold and dry. But that could change..

    Looking FWD to it...!

I'll have propane! Might even bring the awning walls in case we want to sit inside and heat it. Im good for 500 miles to a tank of diesel! Yes getting psyched. My clutch is fixed too!
