  7. Nils, Hold on .... I thought you were selling not buying ..... Graeme
  8. I don't see many British farmers trading in their Defenders for those .... Graeme
  9. I'm with this guy .... Jason nailed it for me. Honestly, getting drunk, farting, being generally obnoxious, and 'proving' something, are all getting very old .... Regards, Graeme
  10. A what, paper map? I like the orienteering idea. In the U.K. we called them "treasure hunts" and were a combination of timed events, clues, map reading, and other surprises. They usually involved one or more pubs ... I'll try to set one up for later in the year and let you know when I have it together. Planning takes days if done correctly. Regards, Graeme
  11. That is what they call an orange bucket list ... Regards, Graeme
  12. Tim, Maybe you'll get free parking for the games .... Remarkably close ... https://www.schemecolor.com/wp-content/themes/colorsite/include/cc4.php?color0=000000&color1=006d76&color2=ffffff&color3=ea7200&pn=San%20Jose%20Sharks%20Logo Graeme
  13. Tim, Martin Autocolor are great. With the day job we do tens of thousands a month with them in San Jose and Pomona. Regards, Graeme
  14. Greg, I looked at the picture and thought, "he fitted cup-holders, how is that hard?". Then I realized you meant pulling the parking brake .... Graeme
  15. I have a solution: http://www.roverware.us/goodridge-steel-braided-brake-lines-hoses-4-extended-custom-range-rover-classic-us-spec-sproverware/ Regards, Graeme
  16. I noticed that half way through the labor pool reduced .... Graeme
  17. Hold on, what happened to the old joke, "how can you tell the difference between a Rover and J**p at an off-road event? The J**p arrives on a trailer and the Rover drives to and from the event". Graeme
  18. You could always have the D1 transported there, and meet it when you get there. Might be a lot cheaper in gas, tires, torque converters, CV joints, etc. Graeme
  19. Mike, Glad to have been able to help. Hope http://www.RoverWare.US can help on those next items too. Regards, Graeme
  20. Unusual to have a barbecue pit on the hood .... Graeme
  21. And most of the parts on your vehicle have been changed within the last few years. We're talking about vehicle with 20 years of deferred maintenance ... On Katrina you can undo the locknuts and the bars can be turned by hand .... because she has an automatic anti-seize and rust prevention mechanism fitted .... (okay, so some would say she leaks oil, but it amounts to the same thing). Regards, Graeme
  22. Don, It isn't unusual for them to be frozen. The slot allows water ingress and corrosion (no anti-seize). Many alignment places give up trying to do them. That white D1 I had was totally solid, so I just put on a heavy duty one. No amount of heat and a 4' lever would move it. Regards, Graeme
  23. Unfortunately, I cannot persuade Mr. Ashcroft to produce any more (yet!). So, they are now rather like unicorns. dodos, and rocking horse droppings. Regards, Graeme
