I am all on this awesome overlanding trip. I have been wanting to visit this area for a long time. I would prefer March 12th to the 18th. My second choice would be March 19th to the 25th Andrew

The latest air quality in shaver lake.

The air quality index is definitely going to be a concern for people like me that have a breathing problems. As for me, I have COPD. I have to be careful with the air quality of places I visit. I hope it gets better soon.

I will be bringing my famous Cleveland Chili recipe.

I will be donating a garmin inreach mini and and a Teton heavy duty camping cot and and a LaidBack 4 inch thick memory foam camping pad. All are in new condition.

I will be there camping for the weekend.

Just found out that they canceled this event. Not looking good for wheeling this year.

I will be headed down South this Friday morning with some Yota friends at 6:00 a.m. to join the Cal4 Wheel poker run near shaver lake and run the Swamp Lake trail. If you're interested please DM me and we can meet up. This is a hardcore trail so lockers 35 inch tires and body protection a minimum. I will be returning to the bay area on Monday morning. Andrew.

Adding to the list of stuff I'm bringing for the D2 are rear axle shafts and a alternator.

Between the two of you guys I don't have any thing to bring that would not be redundant except for ball joints, tie rod ends duck tape and bailing wire. The tools I will bring are my welder, angle grinder, drill, sawzall, impact gun, soldering iron. If I think of anything else I will post it.

No kids yet, but they are welcome to come along. Definitely a great place for kids to explore!

Jamie and myself are planning a trip to the Lost Coast Trail from Sunday 7-11-21 to Saturday 7-17-21. Starting the trail from south to north the route begins on highway 1 about 29 miles north of Fort Bragg just before highway 1 heads east before it cousins with highway 101. We will meet up on Sunday about 2-3 pm at Usal beach campground located just after the start of the trail. The plan is to spend 3-4 days exploring the area, which includes a old fishing village, a black sand beach,the Cape Mendocino light house, Bear Harbor and maybe see a heard of Roosevelt Elks and much more! There's 8 campgrounds that we can stay at in the park. The second part of this trip will be exploring the Humboldt Redwoods State Park which is the largest old growth redwood forest in the world! We are going to keep this group to a total of 6 vehicles. So far we have 3 vehicles signed up. You can join us for just part of the trip. I will be heading up there from Salmon Creek ranch in Bodega Bay on Sunday about 11-12 if anyone wants to caravan up there. Andrew
