I won't be able to make it for this trip anymore but stepping into my very large shoe will be @Mr.BlueSky. Hope everyone has a great time and make sure @RobertDingli goes through all the puddles!

  5. Hope everyone had a great time this weekend and made it home safe! Post up all your photos in the google link below so I can live vicariously through them. https://photos.app.goo.gl/NteAsYLC1NBaYQjq6
  6. We were finally able to get down to Big Sur and it did not disappoint! We had 12 trucks total, 1 day trip and 11 camping. Big thanks to @SLOHybrid for getting there early and getting snagging the camp spot for everyone. Another big shout out to @Motobrewer for as always providing amazing beer. The California coast gave us her best, with amazing views and perfect weather. Thanks to everyone who was able to make, we had a good time! Post up all the photos to the google link below. https://photos.app.goo.gl/SYeQbEeMMksUSwT3A
  7. I’ve got the beer! Thanks to @Motobrewer! Side note…if anyone has a propane fire feel free to bring it as there is a wood burn ban.
  8. Paul, For peeps coming from the south, lets meet at the turn out for Treebones resort off hwy 1 around 12:30/13:00. The plan is to climb up the hill (los burros rd) and camp at the top above the clouds.
  9. Sorry if that was confusing...it can be a day trip if you want it to be but otherwise we will be camping over night. Mcway falls is just a stop on the way down to the camp spot.
  10. *TRIP UPDATE* We will finally be going down to Big Sur! Unfortunately it won't be Prewitt ridge specifically but I did find a pretty good alternative spot that is easy enough for any stock truck. And don't worry @RobertDingli the sunsets are still pretty great. Let's still meet at the original Starbucks in Gilroy (6865 Camino Arroyo, Gilroy, CA 95020) at 8:00AM. If anyone wants to meet us in Monterey we can meet at the Chevron in Carmel (3645 Rio Rd, Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA 93923) around 9:30. Will plan stop and see Mcway Falls, an iconic Big Sur landmark as well as have lunch while we're there. It is a CA state park so don't forget to bring $10 cash. The only other thing to remember to bring is bug spray! Looking forward to see everyone there!
  11. Thanks for everyones feedback and patience! I will have a for sure answer on where we will be headed on monday.
  12. July 2021 - The first MORG I led to corral hollow and Biko's first camping trip. You can see the fire on the horizon as well.
  13. Ok folks! Seeing as Big Sur is almost completely closed AGAIN this year, I want to throw out a few options for other places to go. Sorry, I know its a bit short notice but please vote on the below potential alternative options. I still want to try and make Big Sur happen but I think it is good to have a back up if its just not doable. Option 1. Hollister Hills - An oldie but goodie Option 2. Corral Hollow - Tried and true Option 3. Big Sur - down hwy 1 for the day and potentially camp I'm able to find a good spot Thanks again! Mario
  14. Hey Everybody! July MORG is coming up quick! Here are the details as they stand as of now. Can't wait to see ya there. When: July 9th and 10th What: July MORG Big Sur Where: Prewitt Ridhe Meetup Location: Starbucks in Gilroy (6865 Camino Arroyo, Gilroy, CA 95020) Meeting Time: 8:00 AM Things to know: Easy enough for stock trucks This is a MORG - all Rover owners and all vehicle models are welcome to join! If you have a friend that is a rover-head and wants to get a taste for the NCLR club life this would be a good trip. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
  15. I did the day trip last year in the sport and made it out safely thankfully. It did make for a very long day because we got stuck for hours due to the 4runners.
  16. I'll be there with the little sausage...still trying to convince Rachel to come along
  17. The stock trucks can really do amazing things! I took my bone stock 2006 RRS on 20” rim and street tires up to bowman lake and kept up with more built truck with ease.
