  1. Hey hey! Our May MORG is around the corner! See all the deets below as they stand. Can't wait to see ya'll there! When: May 18th and 19th What: May. MORG - overnight camping optional. Where: Niagara Rim Meetup Location: Strawberry General Store https://maps.app.goo.gl/pQHNPPuxJjKmhpN1A?g_st=ic Meeting Time: 09:30AM Things to know: Easy enough for stock trucks but more fun than just another fire road. This is a MORG - all Rover owners and all vehicle models are welcome to join! If you have a friend that is a rover-head and wants to get a taste for the NCLR club life this would be a good trip. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I will be coming from San Francisco if anyone wants to meet up along the way we can coordinate Note - This trail is at a fairly high elevation so there might still be snow. Message if you have any questions or concerns Peace and love, Mario
  2. Would it be worth changing the ratio if it needs to be rebuilt or keep it currently stock? Side question, would the people switch to a Borg Warner over the LT230? Not sure if thats even possible in a D1
  3. I unfortunately have to bowman out of this trip. Hope everyone still has a great time in the fresh pow pow!
  4. I'm trying to make it with the adventure sausage...TBD on Rachel. Could also do the weekend of the 9-10.
  5. Hey! I have run the Falken wildpeak A/T3W on my RRS for a while now and love them. They make them in a lot of different sizes as well as not being super expensive. I've had them on all sorts of conditions from sand, wet roads and snowy trails with zero issues.
  6. Sorry @lutz, not going to be able to make this trip anymore. Hope you everyone has a great time!
  7. We will have product in store all week but the selection is less of course.
  8. Hi All, My work is having our annual warehouse sale at our store in the dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco. We will have a lot of one off samples and great deals on all sorts of products. The store opens at 9:00am this saturday 12/2. https://tripleaughtdesign.com/pages/dws_2023 See you there! Mario
  9. Delivered 13 rolls of fabric (about 575lbs) to a factory the other day.
  10. I’ll be there with the adventure sausage! Tbd if Rachel will come but planning on getting there early Saturday morning
  11. Agreed, I don't think/hope it's not a full snow run but I did hear there's probably around 6' at Poker Flat.
  12. OK... So I checked in on road conditions...I'm sad to say as of the May 4th corral hollow will be closed until at least the 31st. We will be trying to make the run up to Poker Flat (it's also a ghost town 👻). This trail is a little further for anyone who plans do make it a day trip (at least from the bay). Lets plan to meet at the Rite-Aid in Grass Valley at 10:00 https://goo.gl/maps/acPv2nBdZZP439EQA?coh=178572&entry=tt There are 2 routes to get up to Poker Flat depending on the conditions, so get ready for an adventure! Weather will be sunny with temps in the 60's to 70's during the day and dipping down in to the 40's at night. Don't forget your wooly jumpers! I'll plan to put a corral hollow run on the calendar for later this summer when its open, don't worry.
  13. I did have to move it back a weekend. @Mr.BlueSky can you help update the calendar.

  15. I’m hopeful to make it… @Mr.BlueSky can I share with the fam?!
  16. A collection of rovers seen while on vacation in Mexico City back in November
  17. Hey Phil! There were a lot of fun trips last year but don't worry there will be a ton more this year! Plus the RRS crew has grown 1 stronger now that you're back.
  18. My 13 pound mini dachshund can not keep warm enough and he also makes a great foot warmer in the sleeping bag. Having a warm sleeping goes far too...I recently upgraded to a bag rated to 0 degrees and its made a huge difference. The other thing that we do is put your clothes for the next day in your bag over night that way they aren't so cold in the morning when you put them on.
  19. Well everyone, I am sad to say....the covids have finally got me. I feel lucky to have made it 2 1/2 years eluding it. I won't be able to make it for this trip anymore but stepping into my very large shoe will be @Mr.BlueSky. Hope everyone has a great time and make sure @RobertDingli goes through all the puddles!
  20. Hope to see you there Robert! I will be leaving SF in the evening on friday (around 6pm when I'm off work) if you wanted to hook up somewhere along the way. I plan to take 101 up.
