Thanks again for a fun trip, It was great getting to meet everyone. I had a lot of fun and was really cool wheeling with so many other Land Rovers.

Isn't Plan C still within the El Dorado NF?

Nice, if it's a Shell even better. Get to say it's a business expense!

Should I be bringing extra fuel on the trail?

Oh yeah been a long time bud. I’m nervous but excited about the trip. Be a bunch of firsts to scratch off the bucket list. Will you be driving or running as passenger?
-
Thanks Eric, exactly what I wanted to know. Might look into driving down on Thursday night see if anyone else is camping also.

Are we beginning the trail on Friday morning or arriving Friday to trail and camping and starting Saturday morning? Was trying to look for this info but only see dates not an itinerary. Trying to figure out if I need to leave Thursday night or if I can leave Friday.

I plan to leave Vallejo at 7 and will be stopping at the Shell gas station in Murphy's before heading to Camp Connell. Is everyone still planning on meeting there at 10 before heading into Corral Hollow? -

What a view. I've been wanting to check that place out for some time now. So I get it's a lookout but does someone live up there during fire season or is it open for all to go inside? -

Sounds like a fun trip. Ever since this club introduced me to a kinetic rope many years ago I never leave home without my Bubba. Sounds like I missed out on another cool little gathering. -

Had the Rover ready to go but slept in... How did it go? Was the lookout open? -

I'm trying to see if I can make it. Be good to move the D2 around. Is it ok for Martin to join us in his Land Cruiser? We would also be just in and out. -
Haha, I like that idea although the next morning for driving would be tough. I have the D2 set up for sleeping inside. like Greg says, I'm a tall dude so not the greatest but I think we will take 2 tents. Do you guys wake up to cook in the morning on the trail or just quick coffees and cold sandwiches or similar.

I’m going to do everything I can to make it this year. Always an event I wanted to attend and a top of my bucket list trail to do. Rover is all set and ready. I just need camping tips. Never camped on a trail before.

I did a permanent install under the passenger seat, I to went with the twin compressor. I thought about getting the tank but didn't like the size and shape so have ideas in the future to custom make my own tank. I was told I could possibly run my impact on my setup with the tank but I'm not sure how that will work.

Not to thrilled with how little air my power tank holds and how often I need to go fill it so I decided to install a ARB compressor in my Landy to make things easier. So far this unit has worked great. Did 8 tires, 4 32's and 4 33's with ease without heating up or shutting down. Now I can help air people up on trails without having to worry about not having enough air or my tank freezing over. Ever on the ropes about getting on board air I recommend it.
