ROVRMAN2
Any thoughts on a partial plasti dip or plasti wrap?
Elherbinator
What do you mean by partial? What exactly are you painting? Plastidip is not as easy to remove as they make it appear btw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkYeah, I've seen it removed and it's not just a simple peel it off deal. Gets pretty tedious and messy, but it can be done. On Plastic wrap, do you mean a vinyl wrap like what they did on the WNLRR give-away truck? Those can be pretty nice looking though I don't know how hard they are to remove later (clearly it can be done). I suspect they won't hold up well to branches dragging down the sides but would offer light protection to the paint below. They are usually professionally installed but I've been told it's not really that hard. Again, I have no direct experience though.
ROVRMAN2
Clear coat is fading on bonnet and above windshield. Thought I’d cover them to prevent further deterioration. Maybe flat black?
drafdog
Rupert, I have the same issue with my Adriatic Blue '05 LR3. One solution I was pondering was the Lucky 8 hood blackout https://www.lucky8llc.com/products/land-rover-lr3-lr4-hood-blackout and using the plastidip on the roof.
