gurka
No kids here, just me alone this one. Son is back at school and wife is back home in Toronto this weekend. Bringing plenty of booze though, does that count as kids?

gurka
@ndamico - any idea how I would program those into my Baofeng? I don't know how to use a 'repeater' - I just program the club frequency in and go. Sorry for the basic noob question.

Sorry for the basic noob question. i would buy a cheap programming cable and use the free software- "chirp". then its super easy and you can program a whole bunch very fast. lithium1330
In spite of inclement weather (we did have a fun day of sun on Saturday!), it was a great trip. Thank for those who were able to take part this past weekend: gurkas, MrBlueSky, ndamico & his friends. Of the NCLR crew... we closed this trip down with just one fried alternator on the exMoD... luckily, it was on Sunday as we had home. We got close enough to home to make it a 20min detour for a spare battery. ndamico's friend in a FJ suffered same issue on Friday night/Saturday at Lost Coast... Hope everyone made it back OK. More details to follow... but here is a foreword of pictures and write-ups!
