You know, depending on what it bids to that's actually a pretty good looking staring point.  The conversion looks to be pretty well done.  OK, the seats are questionable but that's not a big deal.

 

Of course it's just a starting point - for my use it would need another $15k of work.  suspension, wheels, tires, bumpers, sliders, skids, winch, lights, radio...

Yes, it's weird that you like it.  I'd rather see an Evoque convertible in the driveway (and PLEASE don't take that as an endorsement of a convertible Evoque.)   :lol:

It would make good pre-cursor to your evoque convertible acquisition. ;)

I'm in the same house as this supposed '2nd bidder' and I'm pretty sure that, unless she's holding out on a secret Bat Cave to shove all of these projects in, we are maxed out!
