Not on my Rover, but on a 5.3 last engine that I’d like to put in my Rover one day (lucky 8 has a kit for these engines that can use the stock electronics on a disco 2). They are also popular motors in all kinds of builds. I can personally say they are excellent motors from my experience. This one here has 250k miles on it. No major service at all, still actually running original injectors, plugs, and wires. Although I’ve been meaning to do those for a long time now, but you know how that goes sometimes. Good power, good fuel economy, and reliable as anything. Water pump developed a leak and squeal. The pulley has a bad wobble. I suspect the bearing wore out and the caused the seal to fail. Not too bad for 250k tho. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
