  1. I'm currently planning the meals for my group. We have 4 people (Me, Mark, Cassidy, and Amelia) with a total of 27 meals to be made. This is including travel days. I'm definitely down to coordinate meals, and storage stuff. I have 10 gallons of gas, and up to 20 gallons of water. We could definitely cut down on water storage if we are able to fill up the water. I can share our plan through google docs/text. Or possibly a google sheets with multiple people. You can reach me @ 650 918 9823 for more details.
  2. I'm going to head down to Hollister Hills SRVA for a shakedown run in prep for the annual. Looking at leaving at ~10am and come back whenever my tests are done. Anyone is welcome to join. You can reach me at 650-918-9823.
  3. Would anyone like to coordinate spares, fuel, water, and food? I have 2, 5 gallon water and fuel tanks. For spares I have a MAF and a GAP tool with limited features for LR3-LR4. Food wise I have started to plan out meals. I have an ARB fridge to work with.
  4. Not to brag, but I got the ball vents. But I plan on lots of snacks, food, energy drinks, and Amelia on aux. Well, until I override her. I've got a couple supplies (MAF, GAP tool, basic wrench set, etc) but need to stock up on fluids. My main concern now is stamina.
  5. I'm 19 😄.Cassidy is 19. Amelia is 13. My father (Mark) is the original member, I'm his son.
  6. So Mark as of now can't make it. But Amelia and Cassidy are in! This does mean I will be solo driving the road miles. Any advice for prepping for such mileage? I haven't done more than 400 miles in a day since 2021.
  7. Ack plans changed. I don't have the energy to drive up and with no relief driver for tomorrow/sat I can't make it. Plus I have work early on Sunday so more rest = better. Will definitely try and run another trail before Oregon. Likely Hollister or something closer to The Bay.
  8. Is this only a day trip? Will anyone be camping? Being 3-5 hours from the bay, I'd need to camp Friday and Saturday night. So if anyone would like to camp with us let me know! Unfortunately still up in the air about attending.
  9. Yeah! Dodge Ridge closed on Sunday. Not because of snow, but seasonal workers.
  10. Should be interesting with weather. Shows to be raining now and warm up over the next few weeks, but far out weather reports tend to be inaccurate and more of a guess. Shaver Lake got a mix of rain and snow these past few days totaling 2". That itself isn't much, but considering's its May and suppose to be in the 30's and 40's for the next week. Was hoping to go camping this weekend but left my snow gear back home :(. Yosemite closed Hwy 140 until June/July due to weather. Pinecrest and Dodge Ridge (similar elevation and a ridge over) got some snow and rain totaling 2" so I'm guessing the river along the trail will be rather high. Now this is is 16 days before the trip, but figured would be worth looking at.
  11. Miles, do you think we will run the trail into the night or just during the day? Looking for justifications to add more lights and figured this may be a good reason :).
  12. Signed up! I'm (Oliver) confirmed to go. Hoping to get Mark, Amelia, and Cassidy to join. Planning on taking the new to me LR3.
  13. We will see. I'm planning on attending the overland trip and the May MORG. Will need to see if I can do a quick turn around.
  14. Ah! My plan is foiled. May tag along and just watch people get stuck. Maybe I should invest in a new D2.... once I get an actual space to work on it and a better job to cover the costs.
  15. Are you planning on running the trail? I'm interested to see who's going to attempt it in a lr3 so I can cheat and follow them.
  16. I'm in! As usual will see if Mark will go but I wouldn't bet on it. I was up by Pinecrest Wednesday and Sunday with 0 snow on the roads or side of the road 7,000 feet. I saw a lot of snow melting in shady lots. With it being a ridge over I'm guessing it shouldn't be terrible. On the other hand Dodge Ridge (8,200) still had at least 8 feet at the base and maybe 30 feet at the top.
  17. Curious to the date results. Will there be a cost to register for the trip (like Rovercon)? - Oliver
  18. Definity in, lets see how 19 year old will stand against those with decades of driving experience.
  19. Definitely Interested! If I can back it back from Merced I'm in!
  20. Would love to! but have been out a little too often so will be taking this as a rest weekend. Will definitely plan to make it to more MORGS.
  21. So the April MORG is being moved to Bowman? or will there still be people going down to pismo? Will the dates stay the same?
  22. Oddly yes. I'm still gathering information and interest so we will see how well it will go. My friend with the tahoe has street tires and is interested in both trips, Does anyone know how well they hold up in sand/dunes?
