    FYI - I believe Mosquito Ridge Road is still closed just east of Foresthill so you’ll probably want to head in on Wentworth through Georgetown. If anyone’s been out that way lately and knows differently please let us know.

    What’s the departure plan Saturday morning? I’ll likely come up Saturday and only camp the one night.

    Stumpy is a good hour drive from the trailhead. Any chance of dispersed camping near the trail?

    The China Wall area was heavily impacted by the Mosquito fire and much of it is closed to cutting this year: https://www.recreation.gov/tree-permits/b2ce4e36-ebd2-11ea-b83f-6e0e43d29f74 Also, given the relatively low elevation the trees weren't great last year. Thoughts on an alternative location?

    Looks like campsites are filling up. Reminder that half of site 233 is available if anyone needs a space.

    I’d be very interested in Bowman or something in that area. Central Sierras are a bit of a trek for me for just a quick trip.

    The Shell in Pollock Pines is just a few miles before the Fresh Pond Chevron and about a dollar a gallon cheaper.

    What time is this happening on Saturday and I assume you’re doing an overnight at the lake?
