cjohanson
This could be an interesting thread to follow if people are thinking about getting an LR 3 to build out. http://www.roversmagazine.com/2017/07/introducing-project-revelation/

DHappel
Vintage support! Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalkha! I still think of my LR3 as a modern vehicle yet it's 7 years old already. Even my D1, as a '96, doesn't seem 'old' to me. A car needs to be from the 60's to truly feel 'vintage' in my mind. Likely a result of my age; having gone to high school in the 80s I cut my teeth on '70s cars. By that token today's kids getting their first cars would be looking at stuff from the same era as my LR3. It's hard for me to wrap my head around the idea of a 50 year old car; that sounds like something from the brass era. Yet it's not - it's the era of all those muscle cars we remember. I think I'd better go buy some Geritol now.
AdvRovr
Totally get that. My BMW and the RRS both feel pretty new. Compared to a brand new BMW or Rover they certainly show their age, but compared to brand new non-luxury cars they hold their own quite well.
