On Trail Communications Ham Radio will be primary form of communication, simplex frequency TBD but mostly likely will be 146.460 Gasoline We are planing on traveling around 200 miles between gas stations, so bring extra gasoline if you feel like it is necessary. We are bringing an extra five gallons just in case. Traveler's Monument It is tradition to bring a rock from home to put on the Traveler's Monument

  5. Will also be staying at Harrahs Gear should be safe ive never had a problem at Harrhs or AVi as for #2 you can use a shover and bio tp or do the wagbag thing like Andrew has posted .

  11. Tammy and I are planning to run corral hollow trail Friday morning before the annual event . We plan to camp at Stanislaus river campground Thursday night and meet up at trail head near Bear Valley at 10am after trail run we will precede down to the Annual event registration at 2pm. The majority of the trail is easy with some challenges on the eastern end. Along the way you’ll pass the Bear Trap Cabin, now owned by the Forest Service and maintained as an emergency shelter in winter. Stock Rovers will need care in some locations but should find the trail entertaining and challenging. Trail is approximately 14 miles long.

  14. Looks like we will have some light rain Thursday hopefully not snow. Also if you like fishing bring your pole .Thompson lake and lakecamp have good fishing if we have time.

  17. Dusy is officially open. expect temps around 70 during the day down to 40's at night.The trail is above 9000 feet so be prepared for any whether condition .
  18. looks like the trail will be open .Need to get a head count . If we have more then 5 trucks might need to stagger groups to keep from slowing down . Update Sierra National Forest - The Swamp OHV trail opened on Sunday, 8/18/19, we are down to just one more trail to open. Our crew of Forest Service and 4wd Clubs will start working on Dusy-Ershim this Thursday 8/22. The work is expected to be completed (Tentative) by Monday 8/26/2019 and the Dusy-Ershim will be open for the season. Enjoy this very unique OHV trail that passes between two wilderness areas and practice Tread Lightly.
