brandn3w
Hey all! Quick overnight trip South East of MNF on what should be a quite easy trip just to get out and enjoy some nature. I've not run these trails previously so we can all learn together Here's the plan for Thursday 3.14 into 3.15: Meet on 3.14 at 900A at Natomas Crossings Walmart on Truxel then head to Stonyford where we'll eat lunch. Run that West then South to Hough Springs. Head East to find camping before Indian Valley Reservoir and set up camp. Next AM on Friday 3.15 we head East on Bartlett Springs Road before hitting Walker Ridge Road. Head South on Walker Ridge Road stopping along the way for lunch. Continue out to CA-20 then East towards I-5 and home. If you plan to join please LMK via call or text so I can wait/look for you! 724 317 6102 lutz, SDS, Mr.BlueSky and 2 others
Mr.BlueSky
Looks like an awesome trip - I'd be down, but the classic is in pieces in the garage : 0 so we are definitely out for this one.

Next time! Into MNF looks really nice and want to explore more when there is less snow at elevation. Mr.BlueSky

Motobrewer
Sounds like a fun trip. Mendo is very cool. be sure to check for closures. Not sure they recovered from previous years rainfall. Jethro
brandn3w
Thanks all! I don't know if it's technically MNF, but does look like some water Crossings so God-Willing we'll be good. Jethro and yokrieger

It was good to get out, but hit a water-crossing at that time we simply couldn't pass through it was so deep. Stayed at higher elevation and with previous forest fire it was a bit windy and sparse.
