that's coming soon:). Next project is Diff guards:D I'm buying a set of

toyota marlin crawler diff guards. These are like the RTE's but much much cheaper! were going to customize them to fit the Rover axle housings:eek::D

Guest Jarell

This is a old thread about my first truck and I haven't rejoined the club as I really don't get out much Life makes it difficult but I am looking to do so  soon as I miss the outings and being around wonderful people and having a good time exploring. Well here is my 97 discovery that I have had since 2009.  She has a Custom 5" lift that inspried a club member on here (Pedram?) :D I have Tom woods DC driveshafts front and rear. redrilled swivel balls. Chevy 3/4 ton heavy duty steering link and Rovertym Heavy Duty Tie Rod. Steel Rock Crawler rims on 33x10.50 BFG muds , 8000K HID lights and a Rattle can paint job that has lasted 3 years :P :D :) Some on here know me by my Paint jobs over the years lol.  Yes the Truck was originally blue and a series of "paint jobs" I settled on white.

Hi Jarell - I know you from the simple fact you don't see Discos that are 10 feet tall!

If you wanted to get out for a quick trail run, check out our Arnold, CA thread.  Some of us are going to run Slick Rock trail next month. If you don't have the whole weekend free you could easily just come up for the Saturday.  It should only be a couple hours' drive to Lake Alpine for you I'd think.  Of course, you might get a little bored waiting on all us low-to-the-ground trucks to get through the obstacles as none of the rigs going are rock crawlers.
