girlrvr Posted June 18, 2018 Author Report Share Posted June 18, 2018 it's a 2017 RR sport.the part number on the box/instructions match other part numbers when searching on the interwebs. not sure what happened but he def got the wrong part. inner brackets match bolt holes. fits width-wise but it about 3-4" short on the front and about 1" short at the back !! anyway, will send it back and try to find the right one. haha! NThyrring Posted June 19, 2018 Report Share Posted June 19, 2018 I am guessing that your problem is that you were removing the original trim piece completely. You only take the original trim piece off temporarily to drill new holes through it. Then the original trim gets reattached to the RRS and the new rail sits on top of the old trim piece.
