I'll be dropping off my truck this weekend at the shop. Hoping to get it fixed soon. So things are going in the right direction for now. At least there will be some progress. So I can't go. Have fun everyone.

Oh heck Pedram, come on down. I know you make a decent LR3 pilot and I've got extra seats (right next to the fridge too!) I'll let you play with the fancy traction control in the mud!

The baby shower is near.... I think Sunday, so I might have a few minutes to spare. But I might have some things to prep for. Let me ask the wife and check in later.

That video was from the Feb 2010 MORG, it was a mudfest. That is my series about mid-video. Alan was involved in the club for a while back then, but I am not sure he still has the LR3. I used to see it around town all the time, but I haven't seen it in a while.

What is with these people? Don't they know that you don't sell a Rover; you simply trade up or move laterally to another one. End of discussion!

Linda Marla my sister Laura and I are planning on coming. We will monitor 146.460 in case we are late but should be on time. Got some wrenching to do before we come to swap out my Maf , fix bumper, and fix the locker solenoids.

No Tyler?

No Tyler this time around. He is working to support his new Rover and Rally Car build every Saturday and Sunday pretty much. If you ever go to Alice's Restaurant up by 4 corners in Skylonda that's where he is usually at! Maybe that's a good locale for the Drip in the Dirt if people don't mind a bit of a hill climb....

I also see the lower obstacle course is closed for an event. It might be fun to watch though - admission is free! Mud Pit should be fun to watch with all the rain...we need Brenton to sign up! Maybe we should watch how they run this thing and think about it as the type of thing we do for next years annual event or as a special fundraiser...

ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL USE will be allowed by any participant, club member or spectators during the event! (This is Cal4Wheel requirement for Insurance and HHSVRA Requirement for use permit) This includes the entire obstacle course while we have use of it.

This is interesting. Guess it is on the agenda for next october.

Thanks for posting pictures Chuck. I wish I attended. But unfortunately I was home waiting for this...

Now it's a waiting game to see what happens at the transmission shop. Buh bye disco. Funny thing was the driver was shocked to see a tall land rover. He said he had never seen one like this in person and was impressed that I take mine off-road. He's only seen them overseas or outside the U.S. And told me my truck was on the border of being over limit on weight for his tow truck.
