Owner says he hasn't actually engaged 4WD in years! Also, My friend with the 80" has to bail. So I'll come rolling in solo around 4-ish I think? Will try to load up a stack of wood... and a few beers. Jammed him up and I see some Rover's going towards camp. Jump in my rig and try to follow them but no luck. Head out towards Garcia ridge. Stopped for gas and had to help in a gnarly medical sitch where some lady got ran over by her new Mercedes sedan while trying to pump gas. Lot's of lost skin and bone. So I lost an hour while trying to help. Bugged towards Garcia on High Mountain Road and met the group as they were exiting the trail head. Long day... much drama. TigerDan Posted January 17, 2014 Report Share Posted January 17, 2014 I have a 3.9 with about 50K miles on it. It's a 38D engine so it came from an '89-93 RRC with auto trans. It's been swapped into an '88 so I don't know specifically what year truck it came out of, and I have the previous owner's word that it has less than 50K miles on it and he's a reliable source. The truck it's in has been sitting for a while and I have a bit to do to get it going (electrical problems with the truck itself) but as soon as I can get it fired up I'll take some video of it running and post it, I'll also post compression and oil pressure readings.I will pull and can possibly deliver for fuel costs within a reasonable distance.
