Stock LR3 made it up and down Truck Hill today! Had a first time visit up to Top of the World. And got first body damage (under driver door) going high center at the Rock Quarry (with various club members encouraging me to try again!). The weather was great, the thunder storm came at the perfect time to keep the dust down a little. I was nice to see old and new faces. There was a great turn out. While driving to Hollister, i realized i forgot my camera. Good think i had my iPhone handy. I had a lot of people asking about the Toyota for sale during the whole event. I had a few interested people. But no calls so far. I'm going to put the money towards the D1 build. I will have it out soon. But for now I will try to attend more trips in the current 4x4. I really had fun with you guys. Thanks for coming out everyone. Some learned new techniques and tested the capabilities of their rigs (and trailers)....others enjoyed the camaraderie and a chance to get off pavement.
