I'm going to try and make it. I need to test the Disco out some more with the new mods.

I have never seen your Disco in person - cool! Though, I will be sad not to see your new (well, not that new now) devon hidden winch tray and winch.

Teds, we meet at the Ranger Station (before Area 5, where you pay the entrance fee) around 10am.

Thanks. Looks like it is 150 miles or about 2.5-3 hrs for me to get there. I hope to make it.

How was the MORG? I can't wait to see pictures! I was all set to go and at the last minute had to cancel. I was so bummed I missed another MORG. Can't wait to see pictures/videos!

I'll be there in September for sure and hope to bring a friend of mine who just bought a new LR4...

New member John (and James!) Giordani here. Had a great time meeting some guys (and a gal!) at Hollister Hills for the August MORG.

Stock LR3 made it up and down Truck Hill today! Had a first time visit up to Top of the World. And got first body damage (under driver door) going high center at the Rock Quarry (with various club members encouraging me to try again!).

Here is video for those interested:

p.s. My boy James really wants a shirt! Can we buy some for the kids? Thanks!

Hi,

It was nice to finally get out and do some wheeling. The weather was great, the thunder storm came at the perfect time to keep the dust down a little.

I was nice to see old and new faces. There was a great turn out.

While driving to Hollister, i realized i forgot my camera. Good think i had my iPhone handy. Here are the pictures i took today.

See you all at the annual event.

It was great meeting all the new people and seeing everyone. Think if we took a poll of how many of each type of Rover is in the club, LR3s+4s might be in the lead

A few of the pictures I got:

I'm sorry I didn't spend more time wheeling with you guys. I had a lot of people asking about the Toyota for sale during the whole event. I had a few interested people. But no calls so far. I'm going to put the money towards the D1 build. I will have it out soon. But for now I will try to attend more trips in the current 4x4. I really had fun with you guys. Thanks for coming out everyone.

I am glad most of you guys attended because it was fun catching up again. Thanks for the support as well. My trailer was fun too.

Have to say it was a great time - and if anyone had video of my failed attemp(s) to go up Truck Hill I would be interested to see what it looked like from the rest of the crowd's POV. Paul, the guy brought along, had an awesome time and is itching to get his Rover out here so he can make it up again sometime soon.
