Absolutely.  I'm always willing to help a fellow Rover owner out when I can.

Changed injectors last night with a low mileage set I was given some time back. While I was in there I cleaned the throttle body, bypassed the throttle body heater, and changed a leaky drivers side valve cover gasket.

Tonight I pulled the inspection cover on the trans and checked the reluctor tabs on the flex plate to make sure none were bent or otherwise looking worse for wear. Spacing was consistent and pretty close to spec of 4.5mm all throughout. Fixed passenger rear window regulator with a couple of fifty cent nylon washers.

Need to replace my front motor mounts, again... hopefully the JAG V12 mounts I picked up will last a bit longer. And I might just have time to do my headliner and reinstall it before we lave to make the drive up to Lassen via Paradise this weekend.

Theresa went for a ride in the Defender and saw it in person for the first time since we bought it in February. I'm allowed to keep it!

I also put some inside the swivel ball... I read on the internet that it helps with lubrication. Good thing the Rover has no peanut allergy!!

I can see the problem.  Your supposed to use salted mixed nuts in your front axle.  The unsalted ones go in the rear.

I stayed home today under the auspice of doing office work.  I did get a little done, but mostly I got the old bashed up/pieced together exhaust on the LR3 replaced with a complete cad-back stock system I got from British Recyclers.

That wouldn't be all that hard, except it's all one piece and I have two supports welded in place for my rear bumper that go under the rear mufflers.  So I had to cut them out, hang the new exhaust, then weld the supports back in.  All done, but I'll still need to touch up some paint that got burnt while welding.  And that's why I use Rustoleum instead of powdercoat.

That done, I moved on to replacing my winch line.  I got the old one off but will make up the new one tonight following Brenton's splicing videos on YouTube.  I think it was about due-
