Koji, I was surfing your club's website; nice collection of 110s including yours.

Are you planning to visit Northern California, USA soon? If yes, let us know; perhaps we can roll out the 110 carpet! :) Land Rover East meet West. Perhaps meet you halfway to Hawaii (2009 plan to ship my vehicle there and wheeling around the Big Island).

Here's mine; it's a 1990 Camel Trophy 110 used as a scout vehicle for the 1990 Camel Trophy in the USSR. Powered by 200TDI/5 speed manual!

My wife and I have been to Tokyo twice back in our single days; too bad we didnt' get to visit the country side of Japan (this was back in the younger partying days). Now can't wait to get out in the outdoors especially with our lil ones. Perhaps next visit.

C yah!

Ron,

I live in San Jose now and I don't have one-ten here. I have Disco II now.

I joined NCLR but I have never met NCLR member.

What a cool your one-ten:D

I was looking for one-ten but too expensive!

You should visit country side of Japan sometime. You can visit after I go back to Japan. (Three more years.)

Attached link is most famous one-ten website in Japan I think.

Thank you,

Koji,

Excellent that you joined and you are in San Jose (not too far)! Post pictures of your DII and tell us where have you take it.

Here's a pic of my DII (see below) camping in the snow @ Dismal Swamp (last month's trip to Oregon). Slept in my tent cot (not visible on the attached photo; behind my DII). Trip was a blast!

Anyways, enjoy the benefits of being a NCLR member and come out to meet us. For starters, check out the scheduled MORG (Monthly Off Road Gathering). Great for meet/greets, from beginner to advance wheeling or just hanging out meeting fellow members. This month's MORG Saturday July 5 will be in Hollister, CA. Not too far away from San Jose - see attach quick map/view.

Or come out for a day, or two (camping) and join one of our scheduled 4 wheeling trips. Next trip is Blue Lakes, and in Augst Gold Lakes. Just visit the trip calendar/event for details. Trip details will include maps or GPS coords, skill level req e.g. beginner/easy to difficult, vehicle req e.g. stock.

See you on the trails Koji! catch up to talk about your 110 in Japan and hit some trails in CA with your DII.

Ron
