robg
Three nice Defender’s out on the Rubicon with us yesterday. Two 110’a and a 90. The white 110 had the R2.8 Cummins conversation and was a RHD to LHD swap. Nice internal roll gage. The other 110 was TDi300 converted for Satellite communications and due to all the top heavy load, hung out at Spider Lake. The 90 was pretty standard and like the 110 ran down to Buck Isle and back. Same guy from Worcester in the West Midlands owns all three and whores them out to BFG hence, all the KM3 stickers. They are all based on the East coast and get touted about by trailer. Rubicon was very nice, 85 degrees and sunny. Crap day unfortunately for me and Isabella as we spent 5 hours on the side of the trail spinning spanners. Big thanks to the chopper pilot that hooked up the welder and got us out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSEfzkUcdF4

robg
And what's with you going to the Rubicon and not telling us??? Shake down of next years KOH rig, no LR's were hurt on the trail, but I did use the RRS to tow a rig up there.
DHappel
Ah - I saw the BFG crew had a number of KOH-looking toys. I could smell the race gas from 100 yards. mmmmmm......good stuff!
