Jen Posted October 12, 2011 Report Share Posted October 12, 2011 I'm interested! I was originally thinking Veterans Day weekend, but discovered my oldest boy's soccer tournament is that weekend. I'll just have to call in 'sick' on a Friday....so any weekend in Nov?? I also really liked the idea of camping the first night at the campground we stayed at the second night last year, that was a nice location and had great hiking too. I'm not sure if Friday the 11th or Monday the 14th is the observed holiday? I'll check out my work calendar to even see IF my company gives us the day off! Dave have you thought about specialty cupcakes, there is a bunch of stores in Sac here that are really good. I don't know how we would be going up there but I could help you out if you need. I agree that some of the 'fancy' cupcake places make amazing cupcakes. Good call for a birthday and much easier than cutting a cake while camping. I'm still ok to come this weekend, I'll just leave the soccer player home with his Dad. In fact the little one prefers Rovering w/o his brother. So pretty much any weekend is good for me. LandRonB Posted October 14, 2011 Author Report Share Posted October 14, 2011 Lol. No need for a poll. I have an idea which wknd will work according to popular vote. Took the day off today (working on the DII). Replaced the Mass Air Sensor; easy to do; now no more check engine light. Next job, replace the problematic starter. Got the heat shield off. Bottom bolt of the starter is now removed. Stuck trying to remove the top bolt of the starter. Let me break-out the cold Pacifico's (taking a break). Might req me to stand on the breaker bar (lol) to get the top bolt loose. Will post trip dates/details back soon.
