NigelCowan
what size lift and tires? Suspension is 2" OME HD front and rear complimented with a 2" body lift. Tires currently are GY DuraTrac's 245/75R16 (approx. 30.5") hoping to be replaced with a 33" tire sooner than later.
sasquatch
Look up MaxYedor on LRRForums. He knocks out beefy steering links. Brenton and a couple of other guys have his links installed.
LandRonB
Looks great Nigel. Also check out Rovertracks for HD steering components; that's what I have on my RRC w/33s. And consider RTE weld-on diff guards
NigelCowan
Had the 33's mounted last week and brake lines extended another 5". Took it to HH on Monday since I missed Shaver Lake and had some fun with the family. Everything worked better than expected. Tested all kinds of wheel/axle articualition and had no tire rubbing, not bad for no timming! Front and rear fenders are untouched! Below you will find a couple of pictures... NigelCowan
Well the inevitable happend on Wednesday... cylinder liner slipped and now engine is coming out. Too bad it isn't covered under warranty like someone else The good news is that when I get it back it will have a new 4.6 instead of the 4.
LandRonB
Ouch! Bad news/good news I suppose. 4.6 engine is what Disco's should have anways - that's the good news!
