GriffSC
Nice truck, Carlos! I like all the bells and whistles. So give us some details...
LandRonB
I was fortunate to travel with Carlos, his wife, and REDSQR on the Oregon Trip 2008 along with others here. Dismal swap - fear now "Carlos has soup". Lol. Will let you in this story next camp fire opp. And I will travel again to the end of the earth with Carlos the "Axe Man", "Dismal Swap Soup Nazi", "Fix a broken synthetic winch line w/my Fisherman's knot". Lots of story to tell; great trip; great truck!
Rveiga
It is time to renew my offroad set of tires. I have been running the BFgoodrich MT 255\85\R16 and really have no complaints. I have been reading a lot about the Goodyear Wrangler MT/R with kevlar and wanted to give them a try. The problem is size availability of the MT/R. The closes size I could run would be the LT265\75\R16 but I would lose 1.5" in diameter and gain 0.5" in width. Is anyone running the Goodyears; how are they on the road, wet conditions? Right now I am leaning towards the BFgoodrich for the extra clearance. Any comments would be appreciated.
Disco2Guy
For your current BFG's, are they the older KM's or current KM2's? Do you include your spare when rotating tires? If not it would be an easy decision to just buy another 4 of the same size/make.
Rveiga
Brenton, The current ones are the older KM, and I have rotated in the spare so I am replacing all 5 (sliced a sidewall while in Moab). The side wall slice atteacted me to the MT/R's but are they worth giving up 3/4"?
ColinB
I had a set and they were fantasic off road but TERRIBLE on road. They would Never balance and would howl on the road like crazy. I LOVE my KM2 bfg's

Disco2Guy
Sweet! There's at least four of the D2's running them on the trip; myself, Colin, Steve, and you!
