mirowsky
I've moved to a new condo and want to use the LR4 built-in transmitter to open the garage door. I can't get the LR4 to copy the hand-shake between transmitter and controller. The system uses Linear Act 31B fob transmitters. Each has a unique number that has to be programmed into the controller that opens the door, which I know how to do (It is a fixed number, not a rolling one). Has anyone solved this problem? Any suggestions on what to try?
lithium1330
I thought homelink (I assume that's what LR uses also) is pretty much compatible with most residential garage door opener... Have you seen this post on programming steps? http://nortekcontrol.knowledgebase.co/article.php?id=321 I've had mix results whenever I have to re-program my garage door opener with homelink on my other car. Some times I take too long between pushing the button on the opener (hop down the ladder) and the homelink (in the car). So, i have to do it a few times before Homelink learns it. Good luck!
