ChrisJB Posted March 21, 2008 Report Share Posted March 21, 2008 I kinda grew out of the having a stereo worth more then my car phase and just not motivated to upgrade the stock radio in my disco, and even if i was, it would probably be pretty modest. So I am content with my tape deck/cd changer for now. I haven't bought or listened to a CD since I bought the first iPod in 2001. So I bought some CD-R's and going to make some mix CD's for my LR. Figured it would be a fun thread and see everyone musical tastes. So what would be your ultimate mix CD for road trips/4wheeling? A CD-R holds roughly 17 songs, you can list 17 or just a few that are must haves... My list 1. Tool - Schism 2. Buckethead - Padmasana 3. Metallica - Of Wolf and Man4. It's $80 compared to the $150 version on AB. You'll still need a separate charger with the AB kit too. My cd changer makes a clicking sound like it wants to load another disc, even when the engine isn't running. It doesn't matter if the cd tray is in or not.
