Yes, but then again, I have tried to tell the DMV to collect my "road use fees" from Caltrans who has taken my tax money and clearly not "used" it yet based on road conditions.

I think your barking up the wrong tree Nathan... I would add to this funding issue but then we would start a riot. LOL

So I got one more in the bag. I just finished up Nigel's mods today. I fitted the front and rear bumpers to match his 2inch body lift. And since they both are bolted to the frame I would have to modify the new mounting locations.

And while I was at it I fixed some issues.

then to get rid of that annoying hitch hang up I took a cut off wheel and fixed that without taking to much away.

This is what I took off the old stuff and made it work with the new stuff.

Done with the hitch now to the bumper brackets

Since I don't like Land Rovers front bumper design I upgraded that as well. Only with Nigels approval that is. So here are the upgrades.

Using this 1/4 plate as a mounting point was the base of the front. And adding additional support up front for all purposes. Using the two bolts up front wasn't cutting it for me.

And adding this square tube on top was for the extra height difference.

Boxing in the frame is the key here

Need a smooth surface to mount the bumper on so I had to grind some places flat.

Painted the bumper over night and let it dry. This is never coming off so it needs to be done now.

mocking up the bumper so I can finish.

so, you can do the quick fix for my rear bumper soon too? I had better get in line if I am going to get fit into the the P-Fab lineup.

And I want to talk about solar and LED soon too.

Not a problem. I don't have plans for any projects at the moment. So your up front in line if you want to be.
