lutz Posted August 3, 2013 Report Share Posted August 3, 2013 some info open to everyone Southern California Land Rover Club along with The Land Rover Club of San Diego and OverLandBirds.com Present September 27-29 2013 we will converge on Hanna Flat campground in Fawnskin California for a weekend of fun friends, food and general Rovering about. Joining us this year will be the Land Rover Club of San Diego. It will be great to meet our neighbors to the south. The weekend will be filled with trail runs, starting on Friday with a scenic caravan up to the campsite and a Friday night trail run. Saturday & Sunday will offer a variety of trails of varying difficulties. We will have a coloring contest and a Land Rover scavenger hunt for our younger club members. Saturday evening we will have a delicious Bar-B-Que dinner followed by a raffle. Special guest Neill & Julie Bird of OverLandBirds.com will be joining us for the weekend and will provide us with a presentation about their travels. They have been traveling around the world in their Defender 110 since October 2011. They have endured many miles and mosquito bites to come visit us. We are very excited to have them along for the weekend. Main activities will be held in campsites 45, 46, 86 & 87. Campsite reservations can be made through Reserve America. Registration details will be coming shortly. We need trail leaders, if you are interested in leading a trail please look at the Trail Leader Thread and contact Garrett Brambila. Camping for trail leaders will be provided on a first come basis.
