JFuller
Doesn't look like I can get the time off. How late in the year is this trail open? I might be able to do it a bit later after construction season slows down.

LandRonB
Have fun Lutz and Colin. Remember take your time, plan w/plenty of spares, and don't drive up Thomson Hill in the dark like we did (smile). I remember lots of tire issues when we went - ea bring full spare, tire repair kits, and one CO2 tank. Be great if both of you run the same size tire. ColinB
In Madera now. Got off the trail a day early. Was fantastic. No breaks or flats. Jut a really tough trail. We both got some new trophy dents. I might need a new roof. All in all a great time. Will post pics later.

LandRonB
Colin/Paul and Lutz/Tammie, congrats for successfully finishing the toughest trail in CA; and longer then the Rubicon. Twice for Lutz/Tammie. Wear the dents w/pride (smile)! No tire issues. Good to hear. Post pics of the damaged roof Colin or never happened. j/k. Glad you all made it back safely! LandRonB
Now that's a doosie of a dent (or no pun intended that's a Dusy). Understand the roof on our RRC can be removed; sweet! Or don't worry about it unless it leaks. And just put a sticker on it. http://i1.cpcache.com/product/459235905/survived_the_dusy_ershim_trail_california.jpg?color=White&height=460&width=
JFuller
Colin, I can't believe that your bailing wire spring retainer didn't work. Looks like a fun trail. How would you rate it? How did you dent the roof/pilar? Jason
ColinB
the Bailing wire was fix number one for a broken cone. The roof was a tree. That trail is very narrow. As for the trail. WAY harder than Rubicon. The first day and last day were great the middle day was hell.
SLOHybrid
See the trail is quicker if there is only 2 of you! Just mild carnage then?
