  1. Selling set of Proud Rhino sliders for Discovery 5 (fit 2017-2021) for $1700. Like new condition. Local pickup only. South Bay Area of California. I purchased these directly from Lucky8. You’re saving over $400 (freight and price). Please email dldvs@outlook.com for pics and questions.
  2. I’m considering pulling the trigger on a 2 inch lift from RTE (previously known as Rovertym). I spoke with the current owner Simon yesterday about his current coil manufacture and he said that for last several years it has been a significantly better domestic manufacturer. Has anyone fitted RTE coils recently? How have they performed? Too stiff? Have they sagged? Thanks, Daniel
  3. My understanding is that the OEM is Dixon Bate, but yes, unfortunately there were no indications or markings of the OEM on them. Yeah, the LR plate is pretty rad
  4. My Genuine tow jaws came in from the UK. Got ‘em mounted up:
  5. Anyone have room for a D2 before I reserve another space? I will be sleeping in or on my Disco. Thanks! Daniel
  6. Replying on mobile, sorry for the repeated replies. The model is the AVH-3500NEX. Last weekend I went out to the Panoche Hills BLM and, if you’ve been out there, you know how jarring the main road is. It didn’t have any issues with that, but I have the mounts modified a little to have it fully supported both at the front and the rear. But if it gets ridiculously bumpy, it is easy to fold in (and focus on the trail). For the Gaia app, you just have to search and download the Gaia CarPlay beta app on your phone and it will show up in any radio with Carplay.
  7. Thanks all! Had a great time at the gathering this last weekend. Was a lot of fun to meet group members and get out in the hills/mountains.
  8. Howdy, Joined up today and looking forward to meeting you all out on the trails. I’ve owned rovers for a little over two decades—first a 96 D1, then an 04 D2 S, next an 03 G4 HSE (one of the event vehicles), a 2011 Range Rover Sport (wife), and then another 04 D2 S7 (because lots of kids). Only have kept the 04 D2 S7. I’ve owned it since 08. Here are some pics. Last one is a touchscreen setup that I installed recently (a new fold-out Pioneer that I took apart and carefully refinished in matte black to match interior and get rid of labels and glossy finish). I put in the genuine winch tray back when I got the vehicle, and a Superwinch X9. I removed the roof bars and put on a Safety Devices low roof rack with SD flooring. Genuine HD springs front and rear, so only slightly higher than stock. Pirelli Scorpion AllTerrain’s in 265/75R16. Really have liked these tires BTW.
